We’re at the Dongdaemun market sourcing straps for the Duet shoe horn. Looking and testing out combinations in person is the best way to choose the right one, and it’s an opportunity for new ideas and possibilities we didn’t think of before.

Duet: Experiment #02
Another surface finish experiment for the Duet Shoe Horn, focusing more on craftsmanship. Each piece is manually carved using a cutting disc to achieve a raw, bark-like texture, a nod to the traditional wooden shoe horns from the past.
While this level of craft results in a truly one-of-a-kind piece, the time required to carve every surface makes it a labor of love and difficult to produce at scale. A beautiful result, but the search for the right balance continues.
