Comanda’s Twi Guide 5th anniversary celebration - what a special occasion! 🇬🇭👏🏾✨ Collaborating with @comanda_x on celebrating this milestone was nothing short of an honour. A gifted preserver of the Twi dialect, Amanda has been an asset to Project 1957 from the start! The wisdom of @harm_kay , @lorrainehwright and @drdapaah took the conversation to the next level and the cultural joy provided by @serwaaism , @adowadancersuk and @funkynfreshdj was awesome. Not to mention @platteravenue , @vintagesipss , @claudscookies and @taylorstinge for the wonderful things to consume! Our aim as Project 1957 is to foster a greater sense of community amongst Ghanaians in the diaspora (and friends of the diaspora too), and Comanda’s Twi Guide is the perfect example of what has been created to support that. An audience with project 1957 at parliament 05/03/25. For Ghana’s 68th Independence we aimed to explore and discuss the contributions that British Ghanaian diaspora members are making to Ghana’s development through entrepreneurship, the current investment landscape for Ghanaian diaspora businesses, and the opportunities available for the British Ghanaian diaspora community to invest in Ghana.  What a remarkable time for project 1957 to also have MP Bell Riberio Addy to chair the meeting and open up support and advice to the diaspora on ways to manoeuvre and invest in Ghana. Thank you also to our panel of entrepreneurs who were able to give us an insight into their own experiences, development and challenges faced on their investment journey and guidance on how to navigate each of their fields.
