When performing fire stunts, if the performer starts feeling heat, that means the clock is already moving faster than you want. Even with a strong safety team, there’s always a short delay between the extinguish call, suppression, and the heat fully dissipating.
What many newer performers don’t realize is that heat continues building even after extinguish begins—because it keeps transferring through the protective layers before cooling down. That’s why prep, layering, fuel control, communication, and precise burn timing matter so much.
A safe burn is never about pushing the limit—it’s about knowing exactly where the limit is before you ever light up. Respect the process, trust your fire safety team, and never ignore what your body is telling you. 🎬🔥🧯
