I’ve been honored and blessed to play a Chris Mindel set at Solar Social the last 3 years. Every year it seems to get exponentially better. But I’m more excited for this year than previous years, and that’s saying something. Excited because @robot_batson is joining me for our Solar Social debut @discoaliens set! It’s been over 4 years since we’ve had a proper DA abduction in the desert. With Solar Social’s theme being Mobsters vs Aliens, I think we’ll fit right in. 🛸 🪩 👽

Hey #nerds and #dj friends, We need some help. We are getting ready for #burningman and ran into an issue while cleaning one of our boards. It's a pioneer xdj-rx3. One of the boards with the cue and play buttons stopped behaving. Here are the key points and issues if anyone who has worked on these can help diagnose or give some tips. 1. The issue follows the flex cable that connects from the main motherboard. We have moved it from right to left, switched the boards with the play/pause switches. Both boards behave just fine when connected to one of the cables, not with the other 2. Replacement cable is the same type (type B) fits the slot and has the same apparent pitch (1mm) as the factory cable. All the numbers (80 C, 60 V, awm, 20624, vw-1 just marginally shorter than factory part. The other longer factory cable works fine, so it shouldn't be an issue with the length of the cable 3. Factory cable lights up the lights on the switches, but the switches do not respond or do anything. Replacement cable gets no lights, but when cue is pressed, nothing, but when released, the track will jog slightly as seen on front of waveform player. The play button does nothing, but you can see a pixel of movement on the tail of the waveform player. Please help, share with friends and techies. We are based in Los Angeles and could use some help! LOST FOREVER 🗺️ A tribute to the “three stooges fight” from Dragons Forever. I’ve wanted to recreate this fight for a long time, and @vladrimburg suggested I make it my own. It was a wonderful creative challenge to take the bones of an amazing fight sequence and turn it into something modern and able to stand on its own as a short. The biggest thank you to @courtney.morrill @jrosenthal1030 and @keara.maryn for going hard in the paint and trusting me through the process. I am spoiled to have friends who can stunt, act, and be a joy to work with all at the same time. What a burn....Thanks @marknixonstudio for this fantastic shot of @tomas_en_fuego @22zc22 and I. I am so happy we were able to share a moment together and bring in the rigging team to our side of things. What a burn, thanks for letting me play even though I was busting it all week at @longfengartcar with @brezstunts @kevinjgmez @tiffany.safronoff @telliottstunts @russelmitrovich @samreanimal and @1980s_vanessa special shoutout also for the afterburn hangout, piano and song moment and the pre-sunrise movie sesh. Thank you everyone. That was one for the books. I really wish I had photos and videos but unfortunately I lost my phone ON THE WAY HOME IN THE RV. I still think the couch ate it. It was by far my best burn despite how difficult and insane it was.
