The two cohorts that just launched, Intimacy Coordination and Intimacy Choreography, will take you step by step through a production process from interviewing to wrap with lots of practice and feedback along the way. You will work with professional actors and directors, real scripts and scenarios, and build your skills and confidence alongside a group of like-minded and supportive intimacy professionals. Despite all your training and experience, have you felt frustrated (or baffled) by the massive distance between how things *should* go and what happens in production? Keep your cool with Open’s new workshop series: Bend without Breaking! Things on set and in rehearsal often don’t go exactly to plan. With all of your experience and training, it can still be overwhelming when your carefully curated toolkit and process get thrown out the window by the realities of production. In Bend without Breaking, you will learn where your process can flex (and where it can’t) and practice strategies for encountering resistance, collaborating in chaos, and doing the right thing- even when everything is going wrong.
