With a heavy heart but deep gratitude, I want to share that I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from Camp Mograph.
When we started this adventure, I never envisioned Camp growing as fast as it did. What began as a little personal project—something fueled by a love for creativity, community, and shared experiences—quickly turned into a full-fledged business. Camp was never just an event to me—it was a reflection of my own life experiences, built from the things I wished existed in the world. I poured my heart into crafting a space where creativity, camaraderie, and inspiration could thrive, and I’m endlessly proud of what we created together.
While it was exciting to see Camp grow, it also came with challenges. We didn’t have the right business framework in place, and shifting from a passion project into a structured company—especially with close friends—proved to be more complex than expected. As things became more complicated, I realized I needed to take a step back and refocus on what’s most important.
At the end of the day, friendships mean more to me than ANY business. And beyond that, my number one job—the one that matters most—is being a husband and a dad. Right now, that’s where my energy needs to be. (continued in comments) 👇 #campmograph

Yesterday, a 3D oriole bird I animated “flew” through the entire stadium at Camden Yards and revealed the new 4K scoreboard on Opening Day.
Five weeks from the first call to a stadium full of people watching. Daktronics LED boards, massive 26K canvases, Ross Tessera switchers, and a timeline that didn’t care if my renders were done.
With the installation of the new LED boards, there were no existing templated to work from. Lots of time was spent reading spec sheets instead of designing, which felt like wasted time. BUT, it was the reason the whole thing actually worked flawlessly.
