Chasing the $10 Cowboy Through Texas
We had the privilege of following Charley Crockett across Texas on his $10 Cowboy tour, documenting his vibrant, sold out shows at iconic, dear to his heart, venues in Austin, Helotes, Houston, and Dallas.
It was a true road trip in every sense. Incredible performances, real moments, long late night drives, a car break in, a flash flood thunderstorm, and a whole lot of heart and soul along the way.
Night after night, watching such an inspired and inspiring artist made every mile, every frame worth it, even as the pace stayed intense and the nights ran long. Watching the documentary premiere at last year’s Austin Film Festival felt like the perfect full circle moment after everything that came before.
Huge thanks to Charley for sharing his art with us, to @patrickheaphy and the team at @lcm_247 for inviting us along, and to our ProFor team for an unforgettable road trip together.
