Hot off our largest ever Texas event during SXSW, we’re kick starting 2026 with more human connectivity, purposeful gatherings, and continuous commitment towards forging long lasting relationships, as @producerswithoutborders looks forward to seeing you soon at one of our global events.
I want to Thank all my international friends and colleagues for your beautiful messages of support given current global affairs.
This week marks my mom’s third passing anniversary and once again I felt her presence when this Second (highlighted) Public Proclamation was read out loud by the Mayor’s office during @producerswithoutborders collaboration with Sutapa Ghosh, MS and
the Indian Film Festival of Houston, Inc. (IFFH)
21 years have passed since the original proclamation celebrating my first film.
Although my country of birth (Iran) has a rich ancient history, my Hometown of Houston has always embraced me via relationships fostered, nurtured and cultivated here for over 4 decades.
Cherish the stories of your past, because those are the ones that make your future more meaningful.
Thank you, Houston.

Producers Without Borders Wishes you a Very Happy New Year as we say goodbye to a momentous 2025 filled with purpose driven action that has helped us achieve milestones we never imagined before when starting this network several years ago.
With each passing year, I am more humbled by the increasing number of people and other organizations who are truly plugged in to our ethos and give back to this small international community in ways that solidify its unique position in the world of true human connectivity.
Once again, we cannot be more grateful to United for all their support as our brand partner in connecting us with creatives globally along with The Hollywood Reporter for amplifying our message continuously through their outstanding publication in the media.
London is a special place to close out our annual calendar of events and we are humbled this year by the additional sponsorship support of LMGI's John Rakich, our Hometown via Alfred Cervantes of the Houston Film Commission and Arturo Chavez and Matias Chavez and of course our Advisory Board Member and Global Events logistician, JoJo Dye.
Final shout outs to our Advisory Board Members who were able to attend and lend their phenomenal support towards our growth during the busy Holiday Season, Ayten Mirzoyeva and Steven C. Beer, along with my Ace photographers who have made us all look good, Roxanne Reinebach and Johanna Berghorn.
