Here’s a little sneak peek of our new collaboration with Ox (don’t worry, details coming soon...) Inside the printshop this week, it’s been all about the woodcuts and monoprints ... and outside, of course, we’ve got beautiful Canada geese and wild ducks on the stunning Kalamazoo River! @oxbowschoolofart @process_process

Print Launch: Hai-Wen Lin Sat, May 30, 5 — 7 PM Process/Process Studio at Campfire Printing Press “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘯, 𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘶𝘮, 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 (𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨), 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 (𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦), 𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 (𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘪).” –𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘴, 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 (2026) Building upon a practice of working with paper and patternmaking, Hai-Wen Lin produced a new work–their first published print–in the studio at Process/Process this spring. Their movements in print were enabled by the sensitivity of materials like silk and copper to the artist’s own hand. Drawing upon material histories of Chinese garments and accessories, the sky itself, and the artist’s own divination drawings, Lin combined processes of relief, intaglio, blind embossing, and photography with hand embellishment in beads and string. Join us May 30 to view and celebrate the new work! Details in bio. Hai-Wen Lin is an artist from Elk Grove, California, currently working somewhere beneath the sky. Lin is an alumnus of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, received a M.Des in Fashion, Body and Garment from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA from the University of California, Davis. They are a recipient of the Museum of Art and Design’s Burke Prize, the Ellis-Beauregard Visual Arts Award, and a Luminarts Visual Arts Fellow. We are launching another edition today at the 41st Fine Print Fair at the Cleveland Museum of Art! Our beautiful new monotypes, 𝘙𝘪𝘣𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, by @victoriamartinez are now available at the fair and online. At the studio Martinez composed colorful and layered images in real time, first by painting the wrought iron fences common to Chicago’s Lower West Side with ink made from hibiscus flowers; then, by running ribbon-like, vinyl tape through the press in playful arrangements; and finally, by adding shapes in various colors. The artist’s interest in the hibiscus flower began with research at the University of Chicago and continues today at the New York Botanical Garden. View 𝘙𝘪𝘣𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 at the Cleveland Museum of Art through Sunday, or learn more about them in our online viewing room. All this and more at the link in bio. 〰️〰️〰️ Victoria Martinez Ribbon Fence, 2026 Series of 18 monotypes on Somerset Satin $ 275 ea 〰️〰️〰️ #processprocessprints #collectcontemporaryprints @victoria_martinez_studio @printclubofcleveland @clevelandmuseumofart

They are here! Debuting today at the 41st Fine Print Fair at the Cleveland Museum of Art, our new editions by @diana.guerrero.macia are now available in limited editions of 14. With the intention to make “something like a flower, exploded,” the artist brought swatches of hand-dyed fabrics–the same colors she is using in her current bodies of work–into the printshop to be matched within the productive limitations of ink. Out of large paper sheets printed with these colors, Guerrero-Maciá cut shapes, taping them into provisional forms. 𝘚𝘬𝘺 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘺 and 𝘋𝘶𝘴𝘬 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘺 connect to the artist’s current interests in minimal, singular florals. Abstract forms come to Guerrero-Maciá from a distillation of many sources, so for her, it is fitting to use a flower symbolic of memorial in a time of crisis. See the editions in person at the Cleveland Museum of Art through Sunday or learn more about them in our online viewing room, which features an interview with the artist. Live in Chicago? Join us for our Chicago Launch at @louloubylula next Friday, April 24. All this and more at the link in bio. 〰️〰️〰️ Diana Guerrero-Maciá Dusk Poppy Sky Blue Poppy 2026 Screenprint on Hahnemuhle Copperplate 28 x 22 inches each Edition of 14 with 2 Artist’s Proofs $ 1,800.00 ea | $ 3,200.00 set 〰️〰️〰️ #DianaGuerrero-Maciá #processprocessprints #collectcontemporaryprints @diana.guerrero.macia @printclubofcleveland @clevelandmuseumofart

About a week and some until our next L. Soirée! We’re thrilled to welcome artist Diana Guerrero-Maciá (@diana.guerrero.macia ) and Fred Saskaki (@fredsasaki ), Creative Director of the @poetryfoundation . We’ll begin the evening with a first Chicago viewing of two colorful new screenprints by Guerrero-Maciá, published by @process_process , then move into an exploratory conversation moderated by Angee Lennard. We’ll end with a communal meal by the @lulacafe team, accompanied by an ambient playlist by Joe Adamik. All guests will receive a commemorative collage and flower, selected by the artist! Friday, April 24th, 6:30-9:00pm $95/person | 3057 W. Logan Blvd Tickets are available at the link in our profile. _______ Curated by Amalea Tshilds (@atshilds ), L. Soirée is an intimate, salon-style gathering where performance, stories, and conversation unfold together. The series is collaborative by design—artists are invited to invite someone they’d like to converse and work with. The design of the evening is only dictated by a loose structure of this salon. Lea created L. Soiree in order to hear what musicians and artists have to say in community, without the imposition of interview-style questions. Each artist sets their own pace, deciding how much is dialogue and how much is performance. The two can blend, shift, or stand alone, depending on what feels right in the moment. It’s an open format that invites authenticity, aiming toward understanding and compassion.

In March, we welcomed artist Victoria Martinez into the studio to make a series of 20 monoprints, 𝘙𝘪𝘣𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, which will launch this Thursday at the 41st Fine Print Fair at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Here are a few photos from the time we spent together. Martinez painted with ink made from hibiscus flowers, experimented with printing ribbons using colorful oil-based inks, and composed layered images on Plexiglas plates. The monoprints will be shared and available online–and at the fair!–this Thursday. Preview and inquires to [email protected] (or DM) 🌺 @victoria_martinez_studio @printclubofcleveland @clevelandmuseumofart #processprocessprints

We’re very excited for our next L. Soiree gathering, welcoming artist Diana Guerrero-Maciá (@diana.guerrero.macia ), in conversation with Fred Sasaki (@fredsasaki ), Creative Director, @poetryfoundation . Alongside an ambient playlist by Joe Adamik, the evening will begin with a first Chicago viewing of two colorful new screenprints by Diana, published by Process/Process (@process_process ). The works on view articulate Guerrero-Maciá’s current fascination with flowers–specifically for these prints–poppies, at the precipice of abstraction. We’ll move into a conversation with Guerrero-Maciá and Sasaki–with insights by Sasaki and the artist rooted in art and life, the conversation will move in an exploratory pattern. _______ Diana Guerrero-Maciá is an artist working in the expanded fields of painting and textiles. She values craft, consciousness, sustainability, and material metaphor. Her studio practice, spanning over twenty-five years, includes slow-craft processes in painting, textiles, drawing, print, and sculptural objects. The haptic moments of touch, revealed in her materials, compiled over years, folded into colorful abstractions, holds time. Color and decoration, in all their expansiveness and elusiveness, are integral to Guerrero-Maciá’s work. As a child of exile, she recognizes that history, form, and identity are ever changing and her art champions transformation. She samples equally from lived experience, internet databases, and Modernist & Medieval works of art, among many random sources. We’ll end the night by sharing a communal meal crafted by the @lulacafe team, with a creative tablescape that includes colorful paper and floral elements drawn from the print process. Print launch, Conversation, and Dinner by Lula Cafe Friday, April 24, 6:30 - 9:00 pm $95/person | 3057 W. Logan Blvd We hope you will join us.

“In 2026, prints occupy a solid and increasingly visible position within the art world.” We are proud to be included in the article 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴: 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴, by Jacqueline Lewis in the current issue of Chicago Gallery News. Alongside some of our very admired peers, we offer insights into the wonder of prints! The article does an excellent job of reporting how print publishers and dealers navigate art fairs like IFPDA (but not EXPO Chicago this year 🥹) and reach collectors. Also very cool: our 2024 intaglio print with Alice Tippit, “Flute,” illustrates the article and is pictured here. 🤎 Check out her current survey exhibition, 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘖𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦, at the DePaul Art Museum and this week at EXPO Chicago, where PATRON Gallery is showcasing her work. The print itself is available on our website at the link in bio. You can find your free copy of Chicago Gallery News in galleries and museums all over Chicago, so get yours now! @chigallerynews @alicetippit @depaulartmuseum @patrongallery @ifpda

With insights by Sasaki and the artist rooted in art and life, the conversation will move in an exploratory pattern. This L. Soiree is an opportunity to get inside of the artist’s recent experience making a new screenprint: for Guerrero-Maciá, an artist working in the expanded fields of painting and textiles, to work in a printshop became an exercise in “letting the way inform the outcome.” In her printing sessions with Angee Lennard of Process/Process, she played with inks mixed to an array of colors inspired by fabrics, experimented with Ben-Day dots, cut and placed shapes in paper, and handpainted films.
