Von 2011 bis 2024 prägte @bueronardin die visuelle Identität der @viennadesignweek entscheidend. MOTHER
is a project for contemporary dance performance that explores the intersection of choreography, digital technology and artificial intelligence. I had the pleasure to work on the visual identity of the project at the end of 2024.
As AI and live prompting was at the center of this piece, I started with 3d scans and renderings of the amazing dancer @souldancer.mj that were later fed to midjourney and later to @runwayapp to make body-based lettering that became the core of the visuals. I am super happy with our main, early AI typeface I've used for the project by awesome people at @process.studio – it gave the visuals this uncanny feeling I was after.

⚡💥We are excited to welcome Martin Grödl to the studio as a new tutor in Creative Technology! Martin is a Designer, Programmer and Artist that works on the boundaries of Design, Art and Digital Technology.💥⚡
He is co-founder and director of Process Studio for Art and Design based in Vienna, Austria, where he works for national and international clients such as The Massachusetts Institute of Technology the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, Sagmeister & Walsh, and Wienerberger AG.
He is a contributor to the Processing and p5.js programming languages and has held positions as guest artist or researcher at diverse groups such as Motion Bank Frankfurt, Zurich Universtity of the Arts, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. Currently he teaches Generative Design at New Design University St.Pölten.
