We’re kicking off the month with a brand that’s been part of the Florida Rum Society story from the very beginning — Privateer Rum (@privateerrum ).
Back in 2020, when FRS was just getting started, Privateer stepped up. They supported the mission. They believed in what we were building. And together, we selected our very first FRS Single Barrel.
Fast forward to today… 7 barrel picks later 🤯
And they’re still doing it the right way:

Today we got to play rum detectives with @privateerrum 🥃
We tasted through a lineup of Navy Yard Rum barrels and hand-selected our very own Remnant-exclusive cask!
The winning barrel will be bottled with a custom medallion for us and heading our way soon, with bottles pouring at both Remnant and Satellite this summer.
Even better: when the rum is gone, the barrel lives on. We’ll be bringing it back home to age a future beer project. FUN!
