@steamroom.mumbai How could I miss this !! Has to be by go too place when ever I m at union Park or bandra Steamroom (Steam Room), Union Park, Pali Hill, Bandra West, Mumbai is a lively, casual Pan-Asian spot (mainly Chinese, Thai, Japanese influences) focused on steamed dumplings, ramen, noodles, and street-style comfort food. Owner/Concept: Founded by restaurateur Aditya Wanwari (of Toast Inc.). The concept draws from Bangkok/Singapore hawker markets — vibrant, high-energy, no-rules street-food vibe with fun branding. Expect a compact, bustling space with unique touches like soft drink crate furniture. It's social and casual, ideal for groups, not quiet dates. Energetic, lively, and chaotic in a fun way. Street-market inspired interiors create a cozy yet buzzing atmosphere. Often packed with waits, adding to the lively feel. Great for sharing plates over drinks and chats. Food: Flavourful, crowd-pleasing Asian comfort classics with generous portions. Strong on dumplings/dimsums (steamed fresh), ramen, noodles, and bold spicy options. Vegetarian choices are solid. Pricing is mid-range. #foryou #vibe #mumbai #bloggerstyle #japanese

@rayscafeandpizzeria #hillroad Ray's Café & Pizzeria is a beloved neighborhood spot on Hill Road in Bandra West ( Hill Road ) It’s a casual, family-friendly dine-in and takeaway pizzeria known for New York-style pizzas. Started in February 2010 by husband-wife duo Hemant and Rashmi Mehta. Hemant (a computer engineer from University of Massachusetts) and Rashmi (a fashion designer from NIFT) brought their love for authentic pizzas to Mumbai. They aimed to serve genuine New York-style slices with a home-style sauce made fresh daily, quality dough, and fresh ingredients under Rashmi’s guidance. It quickly became a go-to spot in Bandra The menu focuses on pizzas (3 sizes, 4 crust types including whole wheat, 50+ toppings, specialties like vegan/gluten-free, Ray’s Special, Fire & Smoke, etc.), plus pastas, sandwiches, salads, garlic bread, and desserts. USP for me would be the 16" Margarita pizza with jelepeno and onions ( freshly baked , lovely glaze shine ) Fresh ingredients, customizable pizzas, consistent quality thin/crispy crust with homemade sauce, family recipes, and value for honest Italian-American comfort food. They also have an Andheri kitchen for wider delivery. Cozy, relaxed, and welcoming with a tucked-away courtyard/outdoor seating feel away from Hill Road bustle. It offers a comfortable neighborhood cafe vibe — perfect for families, casual meals, or relaxed dinners. Many praise the pleasant, non-pretentious setting and good service. #mumbai #newyorkstyle #pizzalover

@gong.india @specialityrestaurantslimited Gong’s cuisine stands out in Mumbai’s Pan-Asian scene through its progressive, layered approach rather than standard Chinese-Japanese fare. Located at Mansionz one linking road this is a new place opened by Avik and Anjan sir ( specialisty restaurant group ) While most spots stick to familiar sushi, dim sum, and stir-fries, Gongexpands boldly by introducing Chūka (Japanese-style Chinese comfort food, like Chuka Stone Bowls) and Itameshi (Japanese-Italian fusion) — reportedly firsts or rare highlights in the city. Expect an expansive sushi program (one of the city’s largest, with precise nigiri, sashimi, and creative rolls like Avocado Truffle or Hamachi Jalapeño), premium imports handled with care (surgical-grade freezing for freshness), robata-grilled items, modern small plates (tuna tataki, hamachi/yellowtail carpaccio), and clever fusions such as Udon Carbonara, Wafu Pizza (with shiso pesto mushrooms), Mapo Tofu with miso butter rice, or Sake Duck Yakimeshi. The difference lies in technical precision, unexpected but harmonious combinations, depth of Asian flavors with Italian/Japanese-Chinese crossovers, and thoughtful execution that feels fresh and elevated — not just another Indo-Asian menu. It’s comforting yet innovative, making it more memorable than typical competitors. Not to Forget the Cocktails they are offering with most of the syrups made in-house and use of premium pouring brands. This progressive style by the team sets Gong apart as a refined, experience-driven destination. Must visit ( Reservation needed ) #japanese #linkingroad #vibe

@belmaroseofficial @gourmet.begum amazing food curation This place took me by suprise Specially the cocktail and the food Mumbai’s social scene just got a major upgrade! I recently visited Belmarose at Sahara Star, and it is a total vibe. Launched by Nihit Srivastava and Rajjeet Chandra, this place perfectly blends unhurried European dining with a high-energy nightlife shift as the sun goes down. Ambiance: The design is chic, fluid, and feels super glamorous—perfect for a stylish night out , a party vibe all in all Vibe: It starts as a romantic, airy European escape and transforms into a high-energy lounge with great music. Food: The menu is a canvas of European, Asian and Tapas The small plates are great for sharing, and the Mediterranean freshness really stands out. Cocktails are amazing and the vibe post 11 pm is outstanding If you want a multi-sensory journey that feels international, Belmarose is the spot! Kudos team and see you soon #club #medditeranean #ásiancuisine #nightlife #mumbai

@lagunabombay Laguna by TGS in Santacruz West is a vibrant tropical cocktail café-bar with some amazing Coffee Cuisine and Latin American and American cuisine that perfectly captures Mumbai’s evolving casual dining scene. The place exudes a relaxed yet stylish vibe—think mood-driven lighting, plush seating, and Latin-inspired energy that shifts seamlessly from lazy daytime brunches to lively sunset cocktails and late-night hangs. The ambiance is immersive and welcoming, with thoughtfully layered interiors that feel like a sunny escape—great for families, friends, or solo unwinding. Food shines with bold Latin American and global flavors: standout Dishes we tried were the Smokey QUESO , Chicken Tunga and Jackfruit Tacos , their Chicago style pizza are a must try empanadas, chicken skewer. Cocktails and coffee round out the all-day experience beautifully. Do try their Coffe Bar as well. Overall a great place to unwind. #mumbai #cocktails #latinamerica #coffeelover

@potpot.in Pot Pot at Phoenix Palladium, Mumbai – Quick Review Pot Pot in Lower Parel’s Phoenix Palladium is a new modern Indian restaurant from Delhi. They serve tasty slow-cooked dishes in cute terracotta and glass pots. The food feels like home-style Indian but with a fun, fresh twist. I loved the palak patta chaat, Black Dal , Paneer , Sliders . The biryani and truffle kulcha are also great. Desserts like gulab jamun tres leches and jalebi are sweet finishes. Ambience is warm, earthy, and perfect for friends or family. Portions are generous and service is friendly. A bit pricey but worth it for comfort food done right. Must try!

@otokirestaurant Otoki in Colaba, Mumbai is a calm Japanese izakaya that feels like a peaceful escape. Owners Anurag Katriar and Pranav Rungta created this spot with Chef Mohit Singh, who trained in Michelin-star kitchens in Japan. The ambiance is elegant and minimalist with Kyoto-style warmth – perfect for relaxing chats. Service is excellent, friendly, and attentive. The place offers fresh, authentic Japanese small plates in a historic Colaba building. Must-try dishes: crispy Ebi Okonomiyaki (we tried the veg version and it was yum ) Skipped the Sushi and went for Gunkan , one was the vegetarian and other other was crap which was nice. Followed it will Nasu DENGAKU ( brinjal stuffed which had umami flavours ) YAZU HAMACHI is a must try as well. Lovely platting. Do their the Chawan mushi ( japanese custard Savoury) Highlight for the vegetarians is the Simmered Lotus stem called Renkon Kimpira One mains in chicken . Their cocktails need a praise ( classic as well as the sake based ) Ended with the Japanese dessert Overall this place is a must try Do indulge Till we meet again Cheers #japanese #mumbai #vibe #sushi
