For my kidsā second ever flight in a small aircraft we decided to take them on a tour of downtown Austin. We all hopped in our 1965 Cessna C182 skyline and spent about 45 minutes flying from San Marcos over downtown Austin, and then out along the river and on a short tour of Lake Travis.
Our kiddos are obsessed with the HOT TO GO! song so they of course asked to play that in their headset and do the dance. I couldnāt be happier to finally be sharing my love for aviation with my entire family. #aviation #cessna #c182
Boat day in the Turks & Caicos was šš½. Caught a couple lobster, scooped up some conch, and had plenty of rum punch. 10/10 would get sunburned again.
This family and our RV are finally parking back in Austin this afternoon. 10,000 miles, 15 national parks, and a lot of hiking later. Excited to see everyone weāve missed all summer.
