1. Idle Chatter
Sam KS played drums on 75% of our new record and has such a sonorous way of playing. He's joined here by 3 other stellar players and I feel like they really captured a moment. Throughout the year, I found myself returning to this beautiful collection of songs. Only on Bandcamp.
2. IMU
I got to see Jack J both DJ and perform live this year. Been following/DJing his stuff for a decade now and each release feels fresh. This is a collaborative project with Linda Fox called IMU and it really delivers. Heavy mood and rhythm.
3. Resavoir / Matt Gold - Horizon
Music for those hazy summer afternoons when the light is blinding, reflecting off a massive body of water. Another release I found myself returning to over and over this year.
4. Studio
I heard this as a collection of scattered mp3s back in 2007. It was reissued this year on all formats and it's a heater. Life's A Beach!
5. Across the Horizon
I love guitar music. I love ambient music. This has it in spades. Reflective, gorgeous, and surprising. It's also an ongoing series. Sign up for the yearly subscription and receive new music throughout the year, which is then collected on a vinyl release at the end of the year.

Made some Hockney “Joiners” with Mikael Kennedy for the new @bornrivals album. Some of the smaller collages were used in the vinyl insert while the last slide became the album cover.
