So very grateful for today! Bread of the hEarth is this evening with the best of Long Beach represented. Celebrate Earth Day with us at Ranch Los Alamitos as we prepare a Family Style Feast featuring the best Breads and Bakers in Long Beach. We start with a reception in the gardens, wine and beer tasting as well as non-alcoholic offerings. Live music, a family style sit down multi course dinner and dessert. RIP Chef Rainer Schwarz. Much respect for all the great food you kicked out and all the happy bellies you left in your wake. Good memories of Patina days with Johnny Fernow, Joachim Splichal, Alec Lestr, Octavio Becerra, Brett Doherty. I'm sure your OC chefs like Rob Wilson, Amar Santana, & Yvon Goetz will all be sending you some love and hope you don't have to work in the dish pit up there. In heaven someone else should cook for the Chef.

16 Years ago we started creating Charcuterie and Italian Syle Salumi. Now more than ever I appreciate what I have learned and created. Preservation is an art. One local Ranch we hand select. One heirloom breed pig a year for head to tail in house production. Half is used on the Grazing boards of Primal Alchemy Catering throughout the year and half are purchased as futures packages through Primal Alchemy Provisions on our Square Store Site. In August, 25 lucky people will be invited to our kitchen by the sea for a pick up party and will receive their bags of a wide assortment of neatly vacuum sealed cured, dried, and sliced whole muscle Salumi. Like a fine wine each piece will develop a unique flavor over the aging process. School of Fish session at the Los Angeles Convention Center for Catersource 2026 with these two gentleman was so informative and so much fun. We educated caterers from around the country about Sustainable seafood and sourcing. Everyone was entertained by the two fishmongers and all their stories. I am grateful to have them both together on the stage with me.

Hoppy Valentine's Dinner at Warehouse 9 in San Pedro was a delicious success and I am extremely grateful for the @primalalchemy staff that helped make it all happen. A lot if effort goes into off site catering and creating a dining experience in a remote location. Cheers!
