Krump is such a rollercoaster ride. One month, I’m talking about being Rank #5 and learning how to take L’s in battles. The next month, I get my first one-rounder after changing my song last minute on the ride to the event. Then the month after that, I lose in East Meets West.
What I do know is that I’m grateful to have these opportunities. To be able-bodied, to have the freedom to dance and express myself, and to have a community and people around me, not just in dance but in life - who allow me the time and space to do this.
