my name is dante (he/they) & i’m a wine fanatic, writer, hospitality pro, & sometimes even an occasional sommelier 😁
@preshiftnyc is important to me because not only is it a dope opportunity for us to pour cool shit for people we love, but it’s also a chance for us to prove how fun, unpretentious, & accessible wine can be.
we’re tryna abolish that whole snooty ass mentality when it comes to drinking wine. like, relax, it’s just fermented grape juice. 🤪 BUT, at the same time, if we can sneak a little education with the glasses we pour, if we can give a little spiel about how we believe vines connect the world, & if we can put a spotlight on the winemakers who are trying their best to make their wine with practices that benefit the land from whence it came? then,
