it's #WorldAutismDay and i am holding little jo so close to my heart! after a lifetime of feeling alienated and years of waiting for my assessment, i was finally formally diagnosed with autism in july 2024 and everything finally feels right.
there is nothing in this world like autistic joy and experiencing it with others - to all my autistic friends, i love you so dearly! and all the parts of you both good and bad - the media and public so often make autism so black and white (stealing our thing smh) and diminishes our struggles and/or strengths.
to all the people who think they are autistic or self diagnosed, you are so freaking valid and i love you!!!!! 💓

Today is World Endometriosis Day. This years theme for #EndometriosisActionMonth2026 is ‘Endometriosis Doesn’t Wait’. ❤️🩹
The State of Endometriosis Care in the UK shows that the average time to receive a diagnosis is now 9 years and 4 months. For women and those assigned female at birth from communities of colour, it’s even longer at 11 years. I've shared some of my story here.
Change needs to happen for the 1 in 10 of us that have endometriosis. @endometriosis.uk has some resources to contact your local MP and @thisisendoglobal is a wonderful short film that recently won best British short film at the BAFTAs that you can watch for free (and definitely should!!)
