Concept Rationale Carnival - Rooted in Nigerian traditions, carnivals mirror the community festivals that foster togetherness, cultural pride, and shared identity. For Oando, Carnival symbolizes unity in diversity; building bonds across teams, celebrating integration, and reinforcing a sense of belonging. Rave – A Fresh Take on Popular Culture Raves are about energy, rhythm, and freedom, letting loose after a year of challenges and achievements. The Fusion - CRAVE CRAVE is what we long for and strive toward: a rallying call for connection, culture, celebration, and a collective vision for tomorrow. Behind the scenes of the 3 day set build! It took an army of our most trusted fixers! When we started designing this, the question @precisionmadamfixit asked wasn’t “what should it look like?” — it was “how should it feel? How do humans of O move?”. What story does our client @oando_plc want to tell? We knew we were building a Carnival–Rave, but more importantly, we were building a festival experience inside a multilevel space. So the studio sets had to guide people, not overwhelm them. From the welcome area, guests were eased into the night — not rushed. Visual moments were layered precisely, creating pockets where people could pause, take it in, take pictures, and then keep flowing forward. As you moved deeper into the space, the environment shifted. The guest experience areas were designed to feel alive but exploratory — moments that felt discovered, not forced. By the time guests hit the rave floor, the decor stopped being background and became part of the performance. Screens wrapped around pillars, light bounced off concrete, and suddenly the car park wasn’t a car park anymore — it was a CRAVE! Then came the food courts — warmer, brighter, human. Hanging bulbs, 26 structured food stalls made up of the best cuisines Lagos has on offer. The flow, open movement created a place to slow down without leaving the experience behind. And above it all, the terrace. A deliberate contrast. Elevated, calmer, more intentional. A VIP escape with its own rhythm, capped with a cigar lounge that felt like a quiet exhale at the top of the night. Nothing here was accidental. Every transition, every shift in lighting, every change in energy was planned to feel natural — like the night unfolding exactly the way it should.
