This is an open-theme call. Twelve photographers will be selected to exhibit three works each. Three awards will be presented, including the Juror’s Choice Award ($200) and two PRC Choice Awards ($100 each).

Now in its second year, PHOTO/FACULTY brings together 52 artists from 26 institutions across five New England states. This exhibition highlights photography faculty as active artists, whose work spans documentary, conceptual, and experimental practices.
These educators are shaping the future of photography through both their teaching and their creative work. PHOTO/FACULTY recognizes their impact on the field today.

🎉 In celebration of our 50th Anniversary, the Photographic Resource Center is proud to announce the four fellows selected for our 2026 Mentorship Program & Exhibition:
• alina balseiro (@alinabalseiroart ) • Jaypix Belmer (@jaypixmof ) • Libby O’Neill (@libbyoneill_photography ) • Nick Ortoleva (@nickortoleva )
These photographers will each be paired with one of four mentors- @jesstdugan , @jillianguyette , @tommykha , and @rashodtaylorphoto , for six months of one-on-one mentorship.
Throughout the program, the fellows will develop a new or ongoing body of work, culminating in a six-week exhibition at the PRC gallery this fall.
We’re also grateful to Digital Silver Imaging (@digitalsilverimaging ) for supporting the program with a $750 printing and framing certificate for each fellow, helping bring their work to life in the final exhibition.

The PRC Student Show 2026 marked the 20th year of celebrating emerging photographers, bringing together students from colleges, universities, and local high schools across the Boston area. It was incredible to see such strong community support throughout the exhibition!
