25 Years Old, and still acting a fool 🤡
This Birthday, possibly more than ever, I feel seen, I feel understood, I feel loved.

A long overdue sharing of some shots from “Homonculus”. It was such an honor and joy to have co-choreographed this work with @angela.cara.smith and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better cast. As I move on from UMD, it is memories like these that will last. I love these people so dearly and I know that this won’t be our final collaboration 💜🧔🏻♀️✨
Performed 11/24 at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

👯🧶 “I Resist This” is a 30-minute performance featuring two dancers activating soft-sculpture wearables scored by an innovative original soundscape. Using movement languages of weight-sharing and improvisation, the pair of performers interface with squishy, body-like sculptures to explore the inherent tension between independence and interdependence.

Scream Queen 🩸🔪
Gradually sharing some moments and pictures from my Thesis concert earlier this semester while I continue to type my culminating paper. I still can’t believe that we were able to make this concert a reality. I’m heading into my final semester of Grad School incredibly proud of the work I have done and once grateful for all those who have supported me on the way.

Meet my drag persona, “Shingles”
This weekend has truly been a highlight of my life. I premiered my work “Scream Queen” which is a culminating thesis of my work and research at UMD. In this moment, I feel loved, seen, supported, and proud. I am so deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to share my work with so many of the people I love the most in this world. I will cherish this moment forever. And to the many that collaborated on this concert, I can not thank you enough for making my dreams (nightmares?) come true. Christina and Daniel, I am so honored to have shared a concert with you all. I am so glad to have had you as friends and collaborators from beginning to end. Whether you worked on the show, traveled to come see the concert, gave an extra set of eyes in rehearsal, or even texted wishing me luck, you all have allowed me to see just how loved I am, and that is a gift I will never forget.
Okay, enough sappy typing for the night. More photos from the performance to come soon!
Big big shoutout to @colinfranz for designing this killer look. You helped my scare so many audience members, and that is priceless
6 more days till the premiere of Scream Queen! Still enough time to get a ticket!!!!

The premiere of my MFA Thesis Concert, “Scream Queen” is only 3 weeks away! I am so excited to share this work with you all. “Scream Queen” is a solo work that explores queer expression through a lens of horror aesthetics. I hope to share with you, the gory, the glamorous, and the beauty that exists within the grotesque. Also incredibly excited to be sharing the stage with @daniel_________m and @christinacollins__ who are sure to bring incredible work of their own.

Thinking about “NEVER IN OUR IMAGE” and this incredible cast today. These images are from Act II of @mercedes_theartist ‘s three act gun-destruction opera enacted last summer. Can not express how much the artists involved in this process, pictured and not pictured, have continued to inspire me since.

Feeling so inspired by this group of incredible artists. Experimenting, researching, and generally just being blobs. If this excites you, we will be presenting the research on March 5th at UMD thanks to the Jim Henson Foundation for funding this project. Come support and enjoy our amorphous sculpture garden.
