What a blast this past weekend was at Kilo Classic II at the Training Grounds in Bellingham! 💪 This meet I tread a fine line between powerlifting, trail running and cutting. My main goal was to calm my performance anxiety to execute on the platform. Self-confidence is a continuous work in progress for me, but I am proud to say I battled and got the PRs I worked hard for!
This was my first away meet and second overall going into my first year of powerlifting.
~ I went 9 for 9 attempts with:
~ Squats 286 (44 lb PR)
~ Bench 148 (16 lb PR)
~ Deadlift 314 ( 28 lb PR)
I’ve decided that we get this one wild and precious life and I’m going to go out with a blaze 🔥 Fight while my legs can still move and I have breath in my lungs 🫁
~ I’m so thankful for my team and coaches who have been there to push me through this all!

🎉 2025 Recap!! This is celebrating a continuation of the work that has already been put in 2025, I want to carry that energy over into 2026!
~ What a wild ride it has been, I think the greatest take away from this year is the becoming of the person I want to be. Proving to myself that I am worth the effort and I can’t let myself down. Chasing external validation is a losing game, it is the internal work that will cause you to level up. Keep Pushing!
~ Thank you to my coaches for believing in me and pushing me every week of 2025!!

🏔️ Was not expecting wind and rain today for my trail run but it was an amazing experience! Went over logs, under logs and hobbled over tons of rocks and ended up soaking wet.
🌲 The trail simulates life for me, there are damn hard uphill battles but then you don’t quit and get to experience the feeling of overcoming. Choosing to do hard things when the conditions aren’t perfect makes you that stronger of a person 💛

Feels so amazing to hit some post meet PRs!! Hit 285 for my top 2 sets of 4, this was my max at my first meet in June of last year. Hope to keep pushing it!! I’m also working on heat acclimation, I’ve been doing all my runs outside through the winter so I’m definitely not use to 90° sweat sessions 😅 it’s just the beginning of the heat season unfortunately, but I see it as another opportunity to become stronger in a different way 😊
~ Once again thank you to the great coaches and hard working people around me you inspire me to be the best version of myself ~
Muscle growth over a year of lifting heavy and counting macros! I’m 2 weeks out from the Kilo classic meet and just reflecting on the journey it’s been to get here. #keeppushing
As a beginner it’s amazing seeing the progress in form and getting stronger! This is my second meet I’m prepping for and first away meet. 1 year into powerlifting and this is just the beginning 🙌
~ 6 weeks out from Kilo Classic II in Bellingham at the training grounds
~As always thanks to my coaches and teammates for the cheering!~ ♥️

It amazes me to see what consistency and listening to your coaches can do for you. This is my Dexa body scan today 1/14/26 compared to last year 4/16/25. I went from 26.3% body fat (that was already after losing 30 lbs) to 19.7% body fat. 1 year of being locked in everyday. Was it hard? Not as hard as self-hatred and eating my feelings. Shame is worse than being locked in. Thank you to those around me who have inspired me and encouraged me to keep pushing ❤️

Touched 265 for my top set of doubles! working on my depth still. At this time last year, I had re-injured my hip flexor ( old injury from overworking and not having a coach) I have spent the last year learning mobility and strengthening exercises , so to be able to be out of severe pain and hit squats PRs as well as run is a massive PR for me!
~11 weeks out to my next week, Let’s goooooo!

Feels so good to get my lifts in when life is so crazy during the holidays. This ends my first year powerlifting and I’m so excited to see what the next year brings! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas 🎄!

What a day to start thanksgiving! I had a short term goal of running a sub 30 min 5k and surpassed that! Even with it starting to snow in 32° weather
Average Pace 9:18 ~28:52 sec
Definitely worth it for the turkey sugar cookie and apple
~~Happy thanksgiving everyone!! 🦃 🍁
My type of Wednesday evening fun! It’s been a lot of work to get here as a beginner but I’m excited to keep getting stronger, this is just the beginning!
