We were recently part of a film production that needed handfuls of loose teeth ASAP! Our options were A: quick visit to the dentist, or B: make them ourselves. We didn’t want to deal with dental insurance so we chose the latter. #filmmaking #propmaking
Just a little introduction to some friends of ours. We made over 20 puppets in all, with varying degrees of complexity, out of custom designed 3D printed mechanisms and EVA foam.

Big reveal! We’ve been working on building puppets for Finding Nemo Jr for @thestudiorockford for the past 6 weeks or so.
We learned a lot during this process, and we’re really happy with how things turned out. Hoping to do more like this in this future!

DUNKY. We got the idea for the ears from @misstwisted - they used a caster sewed to a wig and fishing line to puppet some ears. It was a great idea! So I figured if I could integrate a spring return system into some printed bearing fittings I would only need one string per movement, and it worked pretty good! This build was for A Midsummer Night’s Dream for @30byninety in Louisiana. #propmakers #theatre #cosplay #3dprinting #30byninetytheatre

Thanks for having us this weekend at @parenfaire ! We had a great time seeing friends, meeting new people, and learning A BUNCH for next time. We’ll definitely be looking to go to more in-person events next year. We’ll also be working on opening an online store in the next couple weeks, so be on the lookout for that.
