I'm grateful to have been selected for @berlinaletalents 2025. I'm looking forward to listening, learning and sharing about audience designing, film curation, programming and beyond, with distinguished colleagues from all over the world. See you in Berlin! My profile is here : /bt//talent/leo-soesanto/profile Many thanks to the selection committee and all the people I've worked, crossed paths, had a drink or karaoke with all these years and who shaped this journey. (Years ago, I was too old to apply for this prestigious program and now, somehow, I'm the right age — I should check if I'm benjaminbuttoning or if I took the Substance) #BerlinaleTalents2025 #ListenCourageously

Mon facétieux éditeur a mis un Léo en couverture de mon livre "L'Aéroport mis en scènes". Vers la porte d'embarquement et l'au-delà !

A quick 48-hour stop in Warsaw and a good excuse to check how the always-impressive city has changed (or not) since my last visit a decade ago. 1. Two shades of being dead serious and laser-focused when talking to film students 2.3 New wave / old wave 4. Culture war 5.6. Signs of life 7. Barbican 8. Three colors : Blue, Red, Yellow 9.10. Weeping walls

You have to live @lecourtclermont twice : in person and then through the lens/eyes of @diana.trope who makes it shine on glorious analog film as if it was a summer camp in winter — with all the sunny memories attached. 📸🌞

Fighting Baltic winter 3. @mariliiskeevallik trying to convince me that this is fine 4.5.6. Light shows in Lithuania 7. Baltic bar in Clermont-Ferrand 8.9. Blooming at CineBaltique in Paris : @gintare.parulyte + @vytautask + @ildzefelsberga 10. Bonus : @lady_farmer ventriloquizing @diana.trope

Clermont-Ferrand in a blink but always a pleasure to hang with the Baltic gang and some usual suspects. 1. Baltic booth greening 2. Don't make a scene but you can expect a riot when the Portuguese booth shows the pasteis de nata 3. Promoting @latvianshortfilm with the one and only @theleontine 4.5. The only Universe is Maison de la Culture / The only Maison de la Culture is l'Univers 6. Ready to shine @gabrieleceg 7. Serbian Jodie Foster split btw her phones : @lady_farmer 8. Like a prayer @pointofu 9. My lower back is killing me 10. @carlavul capalding 11. 12. Reminders : clean your teeth with @points.de.vu and clean the trash

One morning in Vilnius, I remembered that Charles Bronson and Jonas Mekas were from Lithuanian origin. There's no Charles Bronson Library (or Karolis Dionyzas Bučinskis — his real name) in town but there's a wonderful small Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center where you can watch his films, check some memorabilia, pray St Tula (Patron Saint of Cinéma) and browse among the books from his personal collection.

I know that my colleagues @rimante_d and @gabrieleceg are doing a great job at @vilniusshortfilmfestival but it was cooler to see it on the spot, in person — inspiring industry about the state of democracy in different contexts/countries and what fests can bring in their defense, films, walks and meetings through a proper Baltic winter✌️✅. And Vilnius is a beautiful city. Ačiū! 1.2. Nordic-Baltic Usual Suspects. Including 10% of @lady_farmer 3. Nice Reading 4.5. Vilnius Lights Festival, including @emiliepeartree rehearsing for Céline karaoké 6. Diomedes, Cika and @mariliiskeevallik = CIE (Cyprus, Indonesia, Estonia) > ICE 7. I'll be there for you 8. Brueghel (or not) 9. The impressive National Library 10. @theleontine putting the 2 (too?) in @2annasisff

EN - The great Tsounami magazine and its editor Nicolas Moreno kindly asked me my top 10 greatest films of the 21st century. My brain froze and I could only gave those titles. Motivations on the 2nd slide.

I wrote this Facebook post the day after Bowie passed away 10 years ago. Made some minor tweaks but it says it all. #davidbowie
