Thanks for @pasmag and @racemode for inviting me to help out with the @sungkangsta directed @driftermovie sneak peek preview at the @autoshowca today.
Movie looks pretty dope, love the anamorphic look to it, with some very impressive FPV drone photography and seemingly grounded in a powerful story. Looking forward to seeing the full film.
(Aside: and a pretty funny coincidence that my fb memories popped up with my e93 in Dubai where I had the opportunity to learn to drift with it with the drifting community there. A shot of it in action even made it to an edit back then.)
((An e93 is the chassis code or whatever for my 2009 BMW 335i cabrio twin turbo m-sport DCT. Still my favorite car.))
Great screening at @hendersonbrewing for the brand new, literally never-before-seen cut of #swipeNsmash, our @48hfptoronto from 2023.
Also, there was a meteorite that had landed a few feet away from @andre.blissett.11 - so now I have had contact with an extra terrestrial object and expect my super powers shortly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Watch it in #IMAX if you can.
Such an inventive and creative film with an impressive amount of fresh ideas and executed at the highest levels of the craft. It’s better than Dune. Different too, obviously.
There were times something would happen and I’d go to myself “wtf why” but it would be so awesome that I would answer myself immediately with a “why not?”
Chris Hemsworh is extremely hammy in all right ways while still being serious and with gravitas when needed. Dude was great.
Ana-Taylor Joy was perfectly fine, not a stand-out but not bad either. It might be her movie but I’d argue it’s actually more about the dynamics of Gas Town, Bullet Farm and the Citadel with enough reason in the plot holding it together.
Also… it’s absolutely GORGEOUS AND MY EYE BALLS NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN
Less funny than fury road but it’s replaced with wit and creativity. The score was dope too.
Film folk and movie lovers!
The usual suspects and I are participating in another 48hr film challenge, this time in a sci-fi themed event, happening on May the Forth weekend (May 3-5). 🖖
We are once again calling on those who love movies and want to help us make one! Even if you’ve never been on a film set but want to see how one runs and the magic behind the scenes, reach out!
A pre-production meeting is being planned for the week leading up to the event, where you’ll get to meet the rest of the crew and we’ll explain how it all works (tentatively around April 27).
Specifically, we are looking for more crew this time on the production and post side (editors, sound, vfx, costumes, props, camera etc) but even if you haven’t done any of these, best way to learn is by actually doing it!
Any one of you awesome people who has worked with us in the past (cast etc), you’re also encouraged to join!
Reach out to the THR33 from Even Oddity (Kirill @poutine_machine , Dennis @archipelagofuckyourself , or Dean @dean.in.the.machine ) and we’ll see ya at the red carpet!
Some selects from the Wrap Party for this year’s Toronto 48hr film project where we walked home with the BEST TRAILER award 🥇

There’s a certain energy being at a film premiere that just doesn’t compare to anything else.
Enormous THANK-YOU to all who attended and stuck around after the show! :)
Alrighty, Actors’ strike has ended so back to work everyone! 🎥
