Exhibition In @postaspace Buddha, the Dog from the Mineral Fountains Philip Berg 28.03-19.04.2026 "The exhibition “Buddha, the Dog from the Mineral Fountains” is the result of a one-month residency by French artist Philip Berg in Sofia with POSTA. The starting point for his work is the “Earth and People” museum, with its showcase of crystals and minerals—a medium Philip has been playing with for years in his artistic practice. During his stay here, Berg spends, willingly or not, some time in and around the bar at the House of Cinema, where the hot water from the mineral fountains evaporates into a misty veil during the winter. It is precisely within this perimeter that Philip gets acquainted with Buddha the dog —always there, seemingly belonging to no one, an integral part of the urban landscape in the area of the baths. The site-specific installation at POSTA is an amalgamation of his impressions of Sofia, intertwining the millennia-old shifts of the earth’s strata with the social fabric of our capital." The starting point for his work is the “Earth and People” museum, with its showcase of crystals and minerals—a medium Philippe has been playing with for years in his artistic practice. Самостоятелна изложба на Стефан Лоа @stephen.loye 27.11-28.02.2026 Витражът на Стефан Лоа беше създаден в резултат от неговата лятна резиденция в София тази година. Тогава всички говореха за пантерата в Шумен, после за потенциална втора такава, а защо не и за бебе пантера? Пантерата никога не се намери, а на жувущите в крайна сметка им беше съобщено да се разхождат на своя отговорност в парка, в който тя (+1?) потенциално се подвизаваше. Един ден Стефан ми каза „Знаеш ли? В Дин-ле-Бан имаше същата история, заклевам се. Животното така и не се появи”. —- Deep down, we are only talking about love. Solo show by Stéphen Loye @stephen.loye November 27–February 28, 2026 Stéphen Loye’s vitrage was created as a result of his summer residency in Sofia this year. At the time, everyone was talking about the lost panther in Shumen, then about a potential second one, and why not a baby panther? The feline was never found, and residents were finally told they could go, however, at their own risk, in the park where it (+1?) was potentially roaming. One day Stéphen said to me, “You know what? Любовта - продължи Стефан, е прозрачна. Но същевременно с това е сложна, почти като нервна система и съвсем не като желанието, което е в общи линии просто. Любовта пречупва начина, по който светлината пада. Изложбата е витраж, всичко в него се отнася до любовта“. --- Deep down, we are only talking about love. Love”, Stéphen continued, “is transparent. At the same time, it is complex, almost like the nervous system, and not at all like desire, which is overall simple. Love refracts the way light falls. A graduate in fine arts from Cergy and holder of a DSRA (Diplôme Supérieur de Recherche en Art), Stéphen Loye has exhibited and screened his work in many venues and festivals across Europe. His work focuses on the issues of assemblage, collage, and montage where Warburg’s Mnemosyne approach and the cut-up technique play a fundamental role. Do You Really Self-Care? Самостоятелна изложба на Калин Михов 14.10-09.11.2025 г. Откриване: 18:00 ч. “Do You Really Self-Care?” е част от серия видео пърформанси за грижа за себе си, в които художникът взаимодейства с природата чрез уголемени инструменти за масаж. Чесало, масажор за скалп или за тяло – уреди, с които се грижим за себе си или за нашите близки, са взети и адаптирани от Калин Михов, за да бъдат използвани за успокояване на земята. Изложбата има за цел да разшири границите на нашата най-лична грижа. Чрез влизането в такъв интимен контакт проектът преосмисля нашата позиция по отношение на Земята - от нещо външно, което да експлоатираме, към нещо вътрешно, за което да се грижим. Калин Михов, ПОСТА спейс, Булевард Дондуков 34 София, 1000 / Dondukov Bulevard 34, Sofia 1000⚪️Роден 1995 г., работи във Велико Търново, България. Завършва бакалаврска степен във ВТУ „Св. св. Кирил и Методий", специалност „Стенопис" през 2021 г. Прави стаж като технолог в ателие по стъкло на Факултета по изящни изкуства на Университета на Порто и стаж в галерия "Heerz Tooya" (Велико Тьрново) през 2022-2023. Художествената му практика е тясно сврзана и в диалог със заобикалящия го неградски пейзаж, който е предпочитано място за неговите инсталации, акции или пърформанси. От 2022 г. е част от Артгрупа “Дупини", организатор на международния симпозиум ИЗКУСТВО-ПРИРОДА Габровци, форум, който дава възможност на местни и чуждестранни художници да творят в направленията land art, site-specific и nature art в село Габровци, общ. Велико Търново.

Repository of Future Ruins draws from the concept of eco bricks, plastic containers filled with non-perishable materials to create building blocks for construction, as an eco-strategy of preventing further waste in landfills. The use of plastic as a non-biodegradable material, is reconsidered here, playing with ideas of archiving and conservation.  The work reframes ideas of hyper-consumption, focusing on objects in storage, hoarded, externally perceived as trash or low value, or as collections, and their inherent value, before the process of any kind of formal categorisation. Oftentimes, value is added to a material or object after its original live usage, transforming it into an artifact with imposed value through means of formalised physical storage and contextual framing. Viewing each brick almost as a time capsule - in the future, when sites that are built from this material become ruins, what is left behind, and what will be excavated and considered as landmarks or artifacts of current times?
