Cherry Blossom Tree.
Here's what we did:
First, the boys decided to paint their salt dough life cycle models, which we had created a few days ago using apple life cycle cutters from
@sensobox_pl and let them dry. We also discussed what plants need to grow.
Next, they crafted lovely sensory pictures with a delightful printout from
@growing_littlebrains , using colored rice and chickpeas from
@mums_fun_play .
Following this, they chose to construct a playdough cherry blossom tree using a versatile wooden tree tray from
@pops_creativeplay and wonderfully scented playdough from
@curiositycornersensorydough and pink tissue paper. As we only have one tray, they worked together beautifully, sharing materials, taking turns, and helping one another.
After that, we practiced math. Charlie was counting chickpeas according to the number on a wooden board, and Max was practicing additions, subtractions, and number bonds.
