We split our all-levels class between beginning, intermediate, and advanced, ensuring that every breaker gets the personalized attention they need to truly excel. With a total of 15 sessions, we require full commitment to help your child reach your their breaking potential. For all those pushing division in our culture you can go kick rocks. My crew has been putting in work since 1979. Hip Hop is for ALL of us. Don’t change the narrative of what Hip Hop represents. We are about UNITY and COMMUNITY! We don’t bash each other over cultural differences, we share, unite, inspire, teach, and learn. The world is bigger than the little bubbles we all live in. Breaking in the Olympics was a huge moment for us.
We are the most talked about event in the entire Olympics, but are we talking about the important things? People who have nothing to do with our community, who have historically shit on our community, who look at us as uneducated minorities, who haven’t attended a single community Hip Hop event. Those are the majority of people talking shit. Take the time to understand Hip Hop was meant to be spread to the world. It is and always has been a movement and a way of life meant for ALL those who want to be involved. Stop spreading hate. Stop spreading agendas, stop helping people tear our communities apart.
Now to those of you in the community that are shitting on it. If it really bothers you that much, then the questions you should be asking are,
How can I get involved?
How can I help?
What do I feel is underrepresented and what can I do to represent it in a positive manner?
The cyphers don’t change. The battles in our communities don’t change. They will always be there and stay true to the roots. The Olympics are so much bigger than our little American bubble. It is the largest platform in the world. Stop helping the social media hate and division algorithms.
No one is entitled to anything. You aren’t getting a hand out just for being around. That’s not how the world works. It is what it is. You need to keep showing up and keep putting in work, keep building, keep teaching, keep inspiring. We don’t do what we do for the acknowledgments. We do it because we care about it.
