Unknown Aesthetics (2025)
Public restrooms are an essential part of our societal infrastructure. Despite their importance in every building, they are frequently associated with negative perceptions due to unpleasant odors, poor maintenance, and a general sense of discomfort. Unknown Aesthetics highlights the work of designers and architects who employ thoughtful design strategies to reimagine and elevate these commonly stigmatized environments. The analog series spreads over several cities and countries and showcases the dicersity of cultural and societal impacts on design. Mimicking the texture and feel of tiles and joints, the book cover represents the so often seen interior of a public restroom
