“Gastmahl mit Geselligen Gesprächen” (short GmGG) is an event organized by a few students of HSD PBSA from the class “Reality Bites”, by Massimiliano Audretsch in the winter term of 2025. “Gastmahl mit Geselligen Gesprächen” is set as a symposium, where alumna and students are invited to come and feast together in an open and informal setting, to discuss and reflect about the reality of being designers. Speakers take part in a conversation sparked by a set of questions gathered in advance on coasters and napkins. The topics range from ethical design, everyday design practice, to the transition from study to professional life. The symposium aims to strengthen solidarity within the design community, building new connections and creating a moment for shared reflection. @hsd_typography @hsd_design Supervision: @massimiliano_________audretsch Group: @evahil.d.en @melli.korkmaz @ha.thiel @polzerlevin @giacomo.giovanninii @venci.wang @l.roosen_arts Type: Times Rounded @dasgastmahl

Unknown Aesthetics (2025) Public restrooms are an essential part of our societal infrastructure. Despite their importance in every building, they are frequently associated with negative perceptions due to unpleasant odors, poor maintenance, and a general sense of discomfort. Unknown Aesthetics highlights the work of designers and architects who employ thoughtful design strategies to reimagine and elevate these commonly stigmatized environments. The analog series spreads over several cities and countries and showcases the dicersity of cultural and societal impacts on design. Mimicking the texture and feel of tiles and joints, the book cover represents the so often seen interior of a public restroom This book was realized as part of a semester project Anne Muechler and Nico Schmitz ( @muechler_schmitz ) in 2024 Book Print: Kurt Reinartz Cover Print:
