This project treats publishing as an open format rather than a fixed medium. The installation consists of a fabric (140 × 320 cm) and a video with sound (2:30 min). The fabric is set up like a flowchart, showing text fragments taken from overheard conversations that offer multiple ways to read them. The video uses the same fragments in a time based sequence. While the fabric shows a non linear structure, the video turns them into a linear story. Thanks to Lisa Mayer( @hypernormalisa ) for making custom nails and headphones for our exhibition at @nilsson_______ , Jasper Günther ( @jazzbo6 )for letting me use and adjust your track and Simon Fricke ( @simon_fricke ) for the exhibition pictures. Supervised by Prof. Massimiliano Audretsch ( @massimiliano_________audretsch ) outcome of the PUB Class, Winter Term 25/26.

Iseult (type design) Soft Measure (editorial design) Graduation project by @eileengraefenstein Martha Elizabeth Colwell was an early 20th-century type designer, illustrator and artist in Chicago. Her work spans across poetry, illustration, painting and hand lettering in both commercial and artistic contexts. Her work revisits Venetian Renaissance letterforms within a broader typographic revival. Due to limited material preserved from marginalized designers of this period, revisiting her work calls for new approaches. The typeface Iseult and the publication Soft Measure draw on Colwell’s personal works. Through careful rearrangement, her forms find new correspondence with contemporary visual language.
