Come with Fred as he takes a look at his future digs. In the near future ‘Telford Place’ c1832 will be carefully restored to its residential roots, elongating the lifespan of one of Potts Point’s earliest manor houses. Images by @polypattern Animation by us.

Walking through the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi, I found myself looking down just as much as I looked at the walls. The floors are covered in these beautiful vintage geometric tiles. The main pattern is a bold starburst design that uses repeating dark grey, off-white, and warm terracotta orange shapes to create a truly hypnotic rhythm across the entire room. What makes these tiles so special is how perfectly they lock together. Each individual square tile holds only a piece of the puzzle, but when they are laid side-by-side, they form a massive, elegant grid. The precise lines and sharp angles of the geometry make the floor feel structured and strong, while the soft, earthy colors keep the space feeling historic and welcoming. It is a great reminder that great design is always underfoot if we remember to look. These old tiles have been walked on for decades, yet the precision of the patterns and the richness of the colors are just as striking today. It is a beautiful example of functional art that still speaks to us generations later. ⸻ Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Arts Hanoi, vintage floor tiles Vietnam, geometric tile patterns, historic building interior design, architectural details Hanoi, traditional craftsmanship, visual storytelling, noticing details, colorful floor design, museum floors, pattern and form, repetitive design. #voyaged #shotoniphone #PatternDesign #ArchitecturalDetails #VietnamTravel @apple @voyaged

A contemporary extension to a Californian Bungalow in Elwood, designed to achieve net zero energy and water consumption. The proposal takes the form of a north-facing garden pavilion, reinterpreting familiar bungalow materials and details - walnut timber detailing, gabled roof forms, leadlights, brickwork and terracotta. We are currently open to taking on similar projects in inner Melbourne. Please reach out for an initial consult on your potential project. Architect + Interior Design: @studio_cobe
