A perfect little LA day trip. One of the biggest highlights was finally visiting the new David Geffen Galleries at @lacma . The architecture alone is an experience, but seeing how the spaces flow, frame the city, and invite people into art in such an open way was incredibly inspiring. Thereās something energizing about stepping into spaces built around creativity and possibility.
And so wonderful seeing this version of Matisseās La Gerbe in person!!

Art Alive may have briefly paused my regular programming, but weāre back. āØ
Circling back to my feature on the Ilan-Lael Foundationā¦a place that feels completely outside of time. My favorite spot on the entire property was the Boys House, both inside and out. Originally built by James Hubbell for his four sons, the space feels less like a traditional home and more like a habitable sculpture woven directly into the landscape. Handmade tiles, stained glass, mosaics, curved forms, and organic textures make every corners feel thoughtful and alive. @ilanlael
Iām really glad to be back sharing and exploring the kinds of spaces and stories that inspire me most. š¤

The real MVP of last weekend? Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
His work brought the entire experience to life, and the best part is, you can still see Cafes and Cabarets. The exhibition is on view @sandiegomuseumofart through September 20, and itās truly something special.
Make the time to come through. Opportunities to experience this collection donāt come around often, and for many of us, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see these works together. Donāt miss it. šØ

Our Art Alive Premiere Dinner was a breathtaking celebration and an opulent homage to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and the decadent world of the Moulin Rouge.
Velvet-draped spaces, candlelit tables, and electrifying performances transformed the evening into a living, breathing cabaret. Guests were swept into the romance and revelry of Montmartre, where art and celebration intertwined at every turn.
An unforgettable night of beauty, indulgence, and pure spectacle, setting the tone for an incredible Art Alive 2026.
More luxurious event details and all the special thanks coming soon!

Art Alive Week has officially arrived šøāØ
The Museum is coming to life in the most incredible way, and weāre just getting started. One of the things Iām most excited about this year is celebrating the artists who make Bloom Bash such a vibrant, canāt-miss night.
Weāre thrilled to feature Josephine Rice as our Bloom Bash artist, bringing her unique vision and creative energy into the experience. Bloom Bash is where art, florals, and community collide in the most magical way⦠and I canāt wait to see it all unfold.
Whoās joining us under the blooms? šæāØ

Last night at the preview party for GIANTS: Art from the Dean Collection of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The work is powerful, deeply personal, and unapologetically expansive. celebrating Black artists, culture, and storytelling on a monumental level. Every piece feels intentional, and the scale alone is breathtaking.
Sharing a few of my favorite pieces from the collection, each one a standout in its own way.
