Ever wondered where your Polished Man donations go? This is it. đź’™
Our Polished Innovator Showcase brought together the four organisations backed by Polished Man to share their powerful work preventing family, domestic and sexual violence across Australia.
Your funds power the Polished Innovator program, helping innovators like Jaara, Jacob, Sarah, Cam and Miks to sharpen and scale their vision for safer communities.
This event was all about uplifting real initiatives having real impact, and celebrating the power of everyday people coming together to end violence.

Your story might be the thing that helps someone else feel less alone.
Polished Man ambassador @rawsonkirkhope shows what it looks like to speak up, not because it’s easy, but because it matters.
This is how change starts. With honesty. With courage. With men choosing to show up differently.

88% of parents are ready for a change. Are you?
Most Australian parents say they would vote for policies that support a "care-first" society including flexible working, affordable childcare, and equal paid parental leave.
Fathers want to be present, but workplace cultures and inadequate leave entitlements often stand in the way. Supporting men’s active engagement in caregiving doesn't just benefit dads, it benefits mothers, children, and our entire society.

Tough conversations matter.
This is the kind of content that deserves your attention, your time, and a place on your feed.
Two men. Loving dads. No ego. Just honest conversation about struggle and what it really takes to grow.
Not everyone with a microphone deserves the airtime. These guys do.

Did you know that Australian fathers who highly value their role as caregivers report significantly lower levels of psychological distress?
While 33% of fathers in a recent study reported suicidal thoughts in the past two weeks, those who felt deeply connected to their identity as a "nurturer" found it to be a critical protective factor for their mental health.
When we move past outdated gender expectations and make space for men to lean into care, we create stronger families, safer communities and better mental health for men too.

This is what it looks like when people speak their truth, straight to camera.
No scripts. Just honesty about what it means to navigate being a man, cycles of violence, and the world we’re in right now.
These are the conversations and realizations we need to support each other to haveđź’™

For firefighters like Mark Paton, running into fire is part of the job.
But for too many women in Australia, fire is something they're desperately trying to escape.
The reality is confronting.
- Women burned by a partner are three times more likely to die than those with accidental burns.
- In violence-related flame burns, petrol was the accelerant in 80% of cases, compared to 38% in accidental burns.
This is deliberate. Premeditated.
Arson, threats, and intimidation. Instilling fear that doesn't leave when the smoke clears.

We love seeing the Polished Man movement come to life in schools! đź’™
A huge shoutout to the students from Years 9–12 at @melville_high_school in Clontarf and NASCA who showed up, stood up, and painted a nail to take a stand against violence towards women and children.
Thank you Melville High School, and a special thanks to Director Blake for driving this initiative. This is what showing up looks like.
Real masculinity isn’t about having it all figured out, it’s about being open enough to grow, honest enough to reflect, and strong enough to show up differently.

Imagine being told the problem you live every day doesn't actually exist.
30% of Australian men believe gender inequality isn't real. Coincidentally, they're the least likely to experience it.
Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
It’s okay to admit that navigating the world as a young man right now is confusing. With the rise of the "manosphere" and divisive online algorithms, finding a path to healthy masculinity can feel like walking a tightrope.
As @stephclairesmith and @laura.henshaw discuss on @kicpod , the goal isn't for one side to "win", it’s about creating a world where everyone feels safe, heard, and supported.
Let’s keep the conversation open, critical, and kind. 💅💙
