Nearly three years in, and it’s still unbelievable the work that I get to touch. March 27-28 and April 2-4, if you’re in Indianapolis for #MarchMadness I urge you to check out the live production of A Touch of Glory. Indiana playwright,
@laurawtown so beautifully brought the story of the Crispus Attucks 1955 first-ever, all-Black high school national championship story to life. It’s a story of brotherhood, civil rights, dignity, and Indiana history.
Tonight, it was also such an honor to have two youth media professionals supporting
@polishedcomms and capturing this story and the legacy in real time.
This is a must see, must do experience whether you’re a Hoosier or you’re just visiting. Snag your seats before tickets are gone!
My tremendous gratitude to David Williams, Laura Town, Terrance Asante-Doyle, Deborah Asante, Krissi Edgington,
@indsportscorp @artscouncilindy and
@joinproject44 for everything they did to help bring this production back to a stage. My only hope is that we can get more funding to take this production across the country and properly tell this story and honor this legacy.
A Touch of Glory—showing for a limited time. 🎟️
