For 10 years, we’ve shown up for #trans people—together. Since 2016, we’ve provided access to life-saving, gender-affirming care for trans people facing the greatest barriers. Thanks to our donors, supporters, and community, we’ve delivered millions of dollars in financial aid, tens of thousands of free garments, and years of community-rooted support that helps folks thrive. Swipe to learn more about Point of Pride, our mission, and the impact we’ve made together over the last 10 years.

This year, Point of Pride awarded $269,750 through our 2026 Electrolysis Support Fund! 🏳️‍⚧️ Behind every number is a real person navigating barriers to healthcare access. This cycle, we received 698 applications from trans people across the country seeking support for hair removal. Every person deserves the opportunity to feel safe and at home in their body. Together, our community is helping make that possible.

One year ago, Mori shared that access to gender-affirming care would save his life. Today, he’s graduating as valedictorian, building confidence in himself, and moving toward a future where he can fully be seen as who he is. 💜 Stories like Mori’s are why we do this work. Gender-affirming care is life-changing, life-saving, and everyone deserves the opportunity to access it safely. Thank you to every supporter who helps make moments like these possible for our community.

Gender-affirming care is more than healthcare. It's the ability to move through the world feeling more like your true self. 🏳️‍⚧️ We’re honored to support recipients like Jordyn and Mori as they continue their journeys. Every award represents a real person working toward safety, joy, and authenticity. Thank you to everyone who helps make that possible. 💜

“When creating We Are Future Trans Elders, I imagined solidarity through the ancestral threads of hair. Hair is social memory, and I see this cosmology in daily censorship and commercialization. Braiding it. Brushing it. Letting it down. Letting her out. There is this undeniable feeling of connection from follicle to skin. To the strands that land on my shoulder blades, thank you for reminding me who I am. It reminds me of the lineage of women who counsel me from the other-side. It is these Vietnamese women who grew their long, dark hair, to sell. Sacrifice of beauty and identity to preserve family. To provide some sort of survival for their kin. The creation myth of Vietnamese people is a love story between a dragon and a faery. May we keep this lore alive by embodying the sea and mountains. We are elders at any age, just as we are children for a lifetime.” – @hamsalefae (she/they), a Vietnamese-French contemporary artist who works in performance, sound, movement, and sculpture.
