I’m bringing back the free neon signs for you all! Here’s the plan: every Tuesday will be Free Neon Sign Day, where I’ll drop a new 3D model for you to enjoy on my Patreon. Hey friends,
Today marks the final daily Houdini project after three months of non-stop creations, mostly in Houdini with a sprinkle of Cinema 4D. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m honestly thrilled to shift gears to weekly projects starting now. The daily grind taught me so much, but the one-day limit often meant cutting corners on ideas I wanted to push further. With weekly projects, I’m excited to dive deeper and create the kind of animations and setups I’ve been dreaming of without compromises.For this last daily, I put together a Houdini Vellum setup inspired by Vincent Schwenk, rendered with Redshift inside Houdini. Full disclosure: it’s my first stab at Redshift, which I literally installed yesterday. I fumbled some settings—motion blur didn’t cooperate, and I think I went overboard with samples, so not all images rendered. But it’s done, and the files are ready for you to explore on Patreon, complete with all the assets and models I used.Moving forward, I’ll still share daily updates on whatever project I’m working on, but the full project files will drop every Monday. Can’t wait to share this next chapter with you all.
