Last spring we had the opportunity to follow @savethebwca around D.C. as they build relationships with key offices that support the message to protect the Boundary Waters. Now more than ever we need to continue to fight against legislation that wants to bring toxic copper mining next to the BWCA.
Permit season kicks off tomorrow, May 1! There's still ice on the lakes, but it's melting quickly with recent rain and warmer temperatures. As we gear up for paddling season, we're reflecting back on winter camping trip near the Boundary Waters. Where you get to experience quiet forests, deep frozen lakes, and clear night skies.
