My mother is a woman who lost her mother only 2 years ago. I am a daughter, who used to feel isolated on both Mother’s Day & Father’s Day. IYKYK. All of that to say, my heart goes out to anyone who struggles on this day. Know that you are not alone. Know that some of us understand more than you can imagine. And even those of us who don’t, are praying for you on today.
It is because of a handful of women, who experienced the loss of their mom, that the journey of growing closer to my mom became more urgent.
Time is short, so let’s make sure we Love on our people and create experiences that become memories, forever.

Just in case you miss the end of the video, I was in a space where one car hit another car today and an additional two cars were slightly damaged. The beautiful thing was all three women who had their cars hit were grateful that no one was injured. They all understood that a car can be replaced, and that physical wellness was the most important thing. Talk about putting things in perspective!
The same goes for Mondays! If every Monday is a bad Monday, you might need to change your thought process, or your words, or your lens. If that doesn’t help, find something to be grateful for. The air in your lungs, the shoes on your feet or the fact that you have a source of income, even if the job is not your favorite. Someone didn’t wake up today, and I bet you, they would trade places in a blink.
