A Stage for Dreams (2025) 16-Channel sound installation (15:00), coaxial speakers, wood, AI generated images, steel A Stage for Dreams is a speculative listening space, where sound, imagery, and artificiality converge to challenge conventional listening experiences. A 16-channel speaker system spatially distributes sound, blending original compositions, recorded and found sounds, pop music extracts and AI-generated music to explore how organic and artificial elements interact in auditory perception. Additionally, AI-generated images of imagined listening environments are printed onto speakers, visually expanding the idea of alternative auditory spaces. White spaces, punctuated by vivid green acoustic absorbers, serve as a tool for world-building, using contrast and omission to create an open, interpretive space. 9999 Days OST soundcloud.com/po-emo/sets/9999-days-ost ✨✨✨✨ 9999 Days 2023 Game Installation Art, animation, director: Jung Min Lee @min_minline Development: Georg Juranek Music: poemo @po_emo Modular synthesizer: Tilo Kremer, Jung Min Lee This music album is created for the game “9999 Days”, with artwork by Jung Min Lee rooted in the apocalyptic narrative, stemming from the environmental havoc caused by the 2019 pandemic and climate change coupled with societal trauma. The “9999 Days” series, a fusion of painting and gaming, follows the character Harpy through a post-apocalyptic world depicted in paintings and a video game format. It delves into the consequences of human actions, envisioning a future where only remnants of civilization remain amidst ruins, while also evoking nostalgia for the lost human civilization from the perspective of the Harpies, newly created beings brought into existence by humans. In a world ravaged by climate change, the brink of extinction was teetered upon by humanity. Food shortages and a deadly virus threatened their existence. Desperate to preserve their legacy, scientists embarked on an audacious project named “9999 Days”. Within this limited time frame, they birthed a new species known as “Harpy”, a remarkable chimaera blend- ing the traits of birds and humans. Through parthenogenesis, the Harpies reproduced, giving birth solely through eggs. Their unique existence held the key to humanity’s survival, a beacon of hope in the face of impending doom.

Phantom 1/2 (2024) 7inch display, digital animation, sound piece, modified gaming pads, speakers Why do we want to be in control of the uncontrollable? Why do we try to resist change if it’s inevitable? The parallel works Phantom 1 and Phantom 2 suggest control via gaming pads, however the only element that can be modified or played with is the soundscape emitted from the speakers in both a virtual secondary World and the Primary World we know as reality. Dissonance or Harmony, noise or silence, action or non-action are up to you. Exhibited in the HfBK Annual Exhibition 2024 as part of @klasse.bulloch.hfbk and @klassedenny.hfbk

✨ Spyhop (2023) 8-channel sound installation (15:00), speakers, sublimation print on polyester fiber carpet, AI generated images printed on carpet and photo paper Spyhopping describes the action of cetaceans emerging from water in order to observe the surface and to look for prey. In this 8-channel sound installation sounds such as temple bells, guitar feedback, waterfalls, singing birds, a 2007 pop song and synthesizer compositions appear and disappear in the space. Memories of nature, cityscapes and personal sonic memorabilias turn into a moving swarm that lies beneath the surface of silence.
