Projection Mapping Workshop
Monday, January 26th - 5pm - 7pm
Learn how to get started with projection mapping, a projection technique used to augment objects into display surfaces for video and images.
3D scan to 3D print
Monday, February 16th - 4pm - 6pm
Survey some emerging 3D image capture methods and learn how to go from scanning an object to 3D printing it.
3D Modeling in Virtual Reality
Tuesday, March 31st - 4pm - 6pm
Explore 3D modeling and digital sculpting using a VR headset. Useful for quick prototyping, used by product designers and sportswear designers at Nike and others for initial prototypes without wasting material. Can be used for 3D printing, game assets, and more.
3D Printing on Fabric
Monday, April 27th - 4pm - 6pm
Learn how to make your 2D patterns physical by 3D printing them on fabric
We’ll be exploring computer vision in the Interactive Aesthetics class this week, using the MediaPipe plugin for TouchDesigner, made by @blankensmithing , and other visual sensors.
Interactive Aesthetics class experiment using the sound sensor on the circuit playground express microcontroller to affect particles in TouchDesigner. Blowing on the board changes wind direction of the particles.
