I am performing in TWO VERY DIFFERENT AND VERY COOL shows this weekend! On May 22, I will be playing in the 6th Ensemble curated and directed by Rose Moore @ the Leaven Community Center Then on May 23, I will be performing a solo set on yet another great bill and Rose will also be performing her solo set @pdxartscollective (Many thanks to @klglbrth for reaching out to include me) p.s. Chris and I had a fire on the coast this past weekend to celebrate many things. We experimented with fake gems as camera filters.

In September, we were thrilled to welcome the PICA @picapdx Creative Exchange Lab (CXL) to Centrum for one week to round out the artists’ residency that began in Portland, OR. CXL invites artists from around the world to come work, learn, explore, and make connections in our city. Throughout TBA:25, PICA’s performance art festival, these artists developed work in real time, sharing process and dialogue with one another and the public. The 2025 CXL cohort that participated in the Centrum portion included Olivia Camfield, Marcus Fischer, Woodrow Hunt, and Angelo Scott—each working across disciplines to challenge form and engage with history, technology, and community. I genuinely can’t believe that Omni Rail is only one week away. After working towards this for a year and some change, then being able to combine forces with so many people, this is going to be so special. The performance will be opening for PICA’s TBA Festival during First Thursday, utilizing PNCA’s atrium and mezzanine as a site specific instrument. For TBA:25, Angelo Scott presents “Omni Rail,” an ambisonic, walk-through instrument designed from the stairwells, railings, and cable system of Portland’s historic 511 Building. Across three floors of PNCA, musicians strike, bow, or slide the instrument as it acts as its own speaker system, both metaphorically and physically. To open the Festival, Scott and their collaborators will activate “Omni Rail” at PNCA on September 4. Yesterday i watched the weatherman show the amount of debris falling over Tyronza while the entire region was erupting in funnel clouds and tornadoes. This Saturday I play a set at The Snug with @piggybank_pdx and @mattressfanclub ! PiggyBank has tapes!

Going to be doing live visuals tonight with @static__motion for @talking_contest 's album release show! So excited to share some selections from the video art i made that the CRTV's will be playing alongside projections of live video manipulation of everyone's set! @strangepilgrimband and @public.pleasure are also going to play! @lollipopshoppepdx at 8pm Let's gooooo!!!

There will be lots of projects from different folks and it is really cool to see some of my art being in the queue! i am really excited to see what this looks like 2 stories tall! This week is going to be packed! I was invited to play with Collate and @bausband at @thesixpdx ! It is my last solo set for a long time since I am going to be taking a hiatus from performing and working on my Thesis this year! Baus is traveling from Oakland so come hang out if you are able :) + it has been a little over a year since @public.pleasure invited me to come hang out at their recording sessions @anacortesunknownstudio studios and they are doing a tape release at Mississippi Studios this Tuesday! This is a cyanotype I made while encountering a deer outside of their recording session. i have been invited to perform at two shows this weekend! Friday i will be performing at Wizards with @eee_kay_gee from Seattle, MSHR and The Dead White! Sunday i will head to Corvallis to perform with @lovataraxx on their tour from France! + the folks from @spliff_fingers will be performing as Spliffworks The Perseid Meteor shower peaks this Sunday through Tuesday so be sure to look up and if you wanna road dawg down to Corvallis with me hmu!
