We loved balancing the richness of the wood tones with the cooler blue palette to create a space that feels cozy during winter evenings, yet fresh and inviting throughout the day. A Preview of What’s Taking Shape Inside Reed High 🚧👀 Collaborative Design Studio recently shared a look at the material and color boards for the Reed High School Modernization project, and they are a fun preview of what is starting to take shape inside the new building. Boards like these are part of the design process on most projects. Architects and interior designers use them to study how colors, textures, flooring, wall finishes, casework, and other materials will work together before they show up in the finished space. For Reed, the palette carries the school’s identity forward while adding updated, durable materials that bring warmth, contrast, and a fresh feel to the spaces students will use every day. Color will also support wayfinding, helping students, staff, and visitors move through the building more intuitively. With the building topped out and interior work underway, this is a great preview of WCSD’s continued investment in learning environments across Washoe County. 🧱 @washoeschools #collaborativedesignstudio

Dome Done in Carson City. 🏛️🏗️ The new cupola is officially in place at the Nevada Legislative Building, and this was one of those project moments that turned heads all down the street. Watching a 5,000-pound aluminum-and-steel dome rise into place made the scale of the work feel very real. 🏗️👏🏽A big crowd today for the Wolf Pack Fieldhouse topping out ceremony including the project team, the marching band, Nevada Cheer, donors, players, students, and so many of the people who have led this project from dream to reality. Reaching this stage is a testament to a strong team effort, and we’re grateful to play a part in something that will have a lasting impact on the University and the wider community. Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful @ktmbeautiful does the kind of work that makes a visible difference across our region, organizing cleanups, supporting volunteers, and helping care for the places we all use every day. 🌿 We spent a warm afternoon out at Shadow Mountain Sports Complex in Sparks! The Plenium Builders Good Works Committee brought together about a dozen team members from across our organization, including our Reed High School Modernization project team, to clean up trash throughout the fields, parking areas, and park spaces, including the micro-trash that tends to collect across the softball and soccer fields. Even in just a couple of hours, the impact added up. Buckets filled with bottle caps, cigarette butts, and plastic waste are a reminder that, just as in construction, small efforts, multiplied by a great team, make a real difference. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of it and looking forward to the next one. NEON bowling, PB style 🌺🎳✨ The Super-Pin-Tendents were back at the Reno Junior Achievement Bowling Tournament for another fun year, and they understood the assignment. They added signature PB Hawaiian polos to their uniform look and let the bright safety yellow do the talking. The look earned them 🥈 second place in the costume contest and plenty of attention on the lanes. Mobilization is underway for the Echo Loder Elementary School replacement! 🎉 With the project recently awarded, we are rolling out and preparing for construction at this Reno neighborhood campus where students will continue using the existing school until the new school is completed. The next phase after moving in will be to demolish the old buildings to make way for new outdoor facilities. The Reed High School Modernization team took a break today to celebrate an important project milestone with a jobsite BBQ for everyone on site. Even with chilly, overcast weather, warm food and good company made it a great day. Celebrating the Next Chapter at Station 37 🎉 This morning’s ribbon cutting came with a firefighter twist 🚒! TMFPD marked the completion of their expanded Hidden Valley station with a ceremonial hose uncoupling, joined by community leaders, neighbors, and members of the project team. The updated station features a full-size apparatus bay, improved site infrastructure, and connected living quarters. Everything is now under one roof, making response times safer and operations more efficient. The design respects the neighborhood and construction was completed while the crew remained fully in service.
