My big caffinated thumbs tremble as I type this onto my tiny keypad, but I’m performing my show @sohotheatre as part of the @londonclownfest , and I’m proud about that. I get to do my show at a place that has inspired me more than almost any other place (and I’ve been places yeh - been machu pichu, been the forbidden forest, been to depths within that taught me things I don’t I fully understand just yet) - & now I get to share my wares with it and on it and in it and my heart is big about that, super big, if I can be candid for a sec. If you’ve ever thought “I like what that guys about, I like where he’s coming from, I like..may I say…how he holds himself” then this might be the moment to put your money where your mouth is and join the movement within and without, which we’re calling me, comedian Loz Dodd. What’s it about? Ok fine: “In his quest to make sense of everything, Loz discovers he knows nothing. In his unravelling, he searches for meaning with what’s left: himself, a room, and the people in it.” If you have any more questions about any of the above feel free to get in contact via email or telephone or approach me in the street and I can talk you through everything. Details below: 📆 4th June ⌛️ 18:45 🏟️ Soho Theatre (Upstairs) 🎫 £19 (use early-bird discount code ‘PLEASEBEIT’ for nice slightly cheaper tickets) - link in bio. Directed and fed by the otherworldly spirit of @lararicote Tech and heart and soul by @rayegoldsby

🌟More Edinburgh Fringe 2026 🌟 COME AND SEE THE SHOW OF YOUR LIFETIME. It’s my (LOZ DODD) show—a special show like NO other. DIFFERENT EVERY TIME. Powerful. Urgent. What even is this? Where are we going? How do we know what’s real? COME. You’ll leave changed—GUARANTEED. In his quest to make sense of everything, Loz discovers he knows pretty much nothing. In his unravelling, he searches for meaning with what’s left: himself, in a room, with people in it. This Can’t Be It is a semi-improvised, feverish and open-hearted exploration of how we stay open to mystery (and to each other) in times of uncertainty and collapse. “Nuanced character comedy at its glorious best.” ★★★★★ – Reviews Hub “Explosively endearing and deeply vulnerable.” ★★★★ – Everything Theatre 🏠Gilded Balloon Teviot: Nook 📅5 - 31 Aug ⌚20:40 🎟️ in bio #EdinburghFringe2026

Baby Lozzy ain’t even stopping for no one until he’s steered this ship (‘This Can’t Be It’) to victory at the fringe 2026 festival of the arts Britain awards. After a couple of seriously hairy outings with this flippin confusing project which I’m calling a show - which is also not a show which is also a show within a show which is also, I don’t know, maybe not quite a show yet at all but certainly on the way to being a show like no other show like maybe the best show - is coming to the @rosiebtheatre this Spring and oh hell I think you should come and support my family by buying a ticket and sticking around to watch and then maybe becoming part of my family for real. Let’s feel it out. Ok let’s be more specific and clear here: we’re talking Sunday 22nd March, 7:00pm. In Haggerston or near by I believe. People are saying some crazy stuff about the show at minute, like: “a display of nuanced character comedy at its glorious best” ★★★★★- Reviews Hub “explosively endearing and deeply vulnerable in equal measure” ★★★★ - Everything Theatre “A rare natural talent” ★★★★ – Theatre and Art Reviews What is it, well let me tell you a quick something about it, if you’ve got some time? It’s evolving all the time and its different every single time and thats not because I don’t know what it is yet or because I can’t remember things, but if I had to describe it I’d say something like: THIS CAN’T BE IT IS A CHAOTIC, PLAYFUL, COMEDY / FLIPPIN Art THInG DELVING INTO OUR FUTILE EFFORTS TO MAKE SENSE OF LIFE, THROUGH THE EYES OF A NEURODIVERGENT MAN WHO IS INCAPABLE, YET DESPERATE, TO BECOME SOMEONE / GET SOMEWHERe AS A WAY TO FILl the void. I dunno something like that. Please come. I wana get on tv if that’s still a thing. Omg also @lararicote is directing now and if you haven’t heard yet she’s like a channel of abundant universal energy, so that’s pretty sick. @rayegoldsby as per pulling the strings in the tech booth and being an absolute production hun. 🎟️ - get ya tickets in my Linktree pleasassseeeee

🌙 Daydreaming about This Can’t Be It WIP last week at Pen Theatre.🌙 Big thanks to @thepentheatre and @tdrgreaves and the beautiful @guttercomedy family for honestly such a nice WIP last week. It felt so supportive and I really feel at home there so thank you, you lot. Big upz also go to @rayegoldsby who is honestly doing something wonderful on tech and generally helping me in so many ways to get this show / me (Big Loz Dodd) out there, so lots of love to her. 💕 Also thanks to @grace_darvill_ & @everytheatre for my review. Really feels like the first time I’ve read something that articulates what I’m trying to do with it, which feels great and like something is coming through from my heart to others, and that feels nice. 😁🙏 This is one thing they said (read the whole thing in my bio if you like): “This Can’t Be It asks us to reconsider our fixation on certainty and meaning. In the face of human unpredictability, perhaps the search itself – chaotic, sincere and unfinished – is more than enough.” Big shoutout and huge gratitude to @photodobbie for these beautiful photos as well. Please do consider giving him a shout for any or all of your photography needs. 🎞️🤙🏻 Finally whilst we’re here, thank you to all of my pals for coming and watching me work it out and for giving lovely notes and helpful feedback and laughing when others wouldn’t. So thanks to @dan____lee @joseph_ac_rafferty @mincase @alicewondersaround @lararicote @joevaughanleaks @frec.kel__ and all the other ones as well. 🤡❤️

Huge announcement re business matters re comedian Lawrence “Loz” Dodd, just about to drop like right now kinda thing: Me (Lawrence / Big Loz) is/are coming to Leicester for, let’s face it, the huge event which people are starting to call, in my mind accurately, the @leicscomedyfest I’ll be doing two dates if you absolutely have to know, of my show This Can’t Be It, which has been called “Bone-Deep Funny!” and has also received 5 star reviews (it’s received one 5 star review but it is also still a WIP so imagine how many it could receive once it’s actually kinda like finished (it will never be finished, completion is a capitalist conspiracy to force us to continuously produce novelty in a system that is killing itself 🤪) Here are the details: 8th Feb, 2:30pm at Knight & Garter 20th Feb, 6pm at Duffy’s Buy tickets (pls!) in my Linktree pls. Also, can I just extend a huge big massive thank a-you to the folks at Bridging the Gap @bigdiff_venue for awarding me some funding and general support to get my show to Leicester this year. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them because I have poor money management skills, so thank you and I will never ever ever forget you, any of you. I’ll be doing a showcase with the other winners / recipients on the 18th Feb at 7:45pm at the Curve, so also see tix in Linktree for that one too and come see us shimmer in the bright lights of starhood and what-not. Ok lots of love and that. Please remember me. *credits to my wife and girlfriend @saraortolani for the first photo. I love her and i love what her eyes see❤️

Some lovely words and a stonking 5 stars (Big Lozzy’s first 🥹) placed upon my sweet and still jumbled, yet somehow slowly emerging, work-in-progress show, This Can’t Be It. Honestly, I think it’s coming together – it’s been a journey figuring out how I make work and who I am as a performer, a man, & a lover – but it’s felt like this show has been the perfect container to work at least some of these things out. Love to @rayegoldsby for working with me on this in lots of different ways. The tech has become a kind of central part of the show, and I feel very lucky to have found someone who can work with me on something that’s never the same and requires a lot of following impulses, adapting to each room, and being ok with not knowing what will happen. I’m guna spend a few months working on the show, and hopefully collaborating with a few people to make it better / say more of what I want it to say / be even stupider and even more sincere - but for now, just to say thanks to all those who’ve supported it, given me stage time or said kind things so far - it’s really helped me trust my instincts and keep going with making something that is exciting to play in, and that I’m becoming quite proud of. 🙏 Thanks to @bexturnercomedy , Simon @extratopping and @sweet_brighton for making Swans Not Scones alt fest happen, and to @extratoppingcomedy & @paggycomedy for the photos.

Went Barca for Fringe brah. Somehow Lozzy went down pretty well, despite the obvious limitations (the language, his capacities/abilities and so on and so forth). Honestly, if I could do it all again—shit—I’d do so in, let’s just say, a heartbeat, shall we? Really felt like the show started coming together out there and I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t excited about where it might go (ummm Helllo, Eddy Fringe 2026—if you’re listening and already thinking about who you’d want to be the next big thing at Eddy Fringe 2026!?). Big shouts to @imprfcto_bars for being amazing hosts, @andy_casper_comedian (see Boneman on slide 6 for one of his creations) and @imprfctocomedy for helping make it all happen, and @michelleaherncomedy for the photos and the vv helpful motivational post show pep talk! Love the scene they’ve helped to create there, I just hope I can come back soon again please. Thank you. Please. Gratitude also to my journeyman and friend @rayegoldsby for helping in so many different ways to get the show to where it is, and for tech / general emotional & logistical support as per.

I’m going continental Europe lads and I’m guna try and make people who don’t speak my language laugh about things that frankly I don’t understand myself. I’m taking what has been described by some as “a show”, and what I like to call This Can’t Be It (WIP), to the @barcelonafringe2025 . I’ve taken it to Edinburgh and Brighton and also other places, and each time there has been a fair few amongst the audience who’ve come out and said stuff like “fair play for trying mate!” And “do you know how to get to the ring road from here pal.”, so I really think that you should come and I reckon also that you… yeah just come please. Thanks. 🏟️ @imprfcto_bars , Av del Paral-lel, 104 💵 Free Entry 7th Nov - 11:30pm, 8th Nov - 10:00pm, 9th Nov - 7:00pm Hosted by @imprfctocomedy Here’s what we’re sticking with re the blurb whilst I figure out what it actually is: Loz Dodd believes he’s made something monumental in this playful, meta show exploring the strangeness of life and our inadequate attempts to grasp it. The show delights in losing its own thread, derailed by distractions, tangents and spontaneous song, whilst Loz perseveres, convinced he’s on the cusp of a profound insight. Blending the unpredictability of performance art with the openness of contemporary clowning, This Can’t Be It is a feverish, experimental meander through the chaos of never quite knowing what it all means, but cracking on with it regardless…

Loz does Barca 2025, This Can’t Be It, one hell of show if I might say that. Edgy, quirky, provocative, you name it, Loz brings it in absolute shedloads. See it, believe it. Details below for the nerds. I’ll be ambitiously doing three dates at @barcelonafringe2025 at the world famous @imprfcto_bars November 7th 11:30pm November 8th 10:00pm November 9th 7:00pm Loz is leaving the island and heading to the continent and he may have something quite well let’s just say umm powerful, interesting, umm maybe wicked, maybe cool, defo challenging, probs quirky to share with you all / y’all. Nah but seriously for a min here though if I may, the show went really well in Edinburgh and kind of changed my life for the better (health-wise etc) and I’m loving finding out what it is with rooms of strangers who by the end feel like friends and sometimes more. I don’t want to give anything away but basically the show is about the feeling of a life that never really quite gets started - about the paralysis, the overwhelm, the inability to commit, that leaves you feeling as though life is slipping through your fingers. It’s basically like “babe, stop pursuing perfection cos you’re missing what makes this all so special” kind of vibe, but like in a comedy thing. Some have said it’s a straight up comedy show, others have gone basically like “nah bruv that’s performance art bruvva” and part of me has wanted to say “nahhh bruv, cos it’s still wedded quite squarely on the conventions of comedy - tension, release, premise, conceit etc etc”, but another part of me has wanted to just go, “you know what, it kind of is innit?”. Honestly, it’s the best and only thing I’ve ever made, so I’d just love for you to come take a bite.

I’m doing my wip This Can’t Be It (yes it’s still a wip and I plan to call it a wip for at least another 9 months and any one who has an issue with that has obviously never seen the show) - as part of @lambethfringe . Honestly, some of the feedback about the show at Edinburgh made me think the unthinkable, like “oh, maybe you do know what you’re doing after all.” & “oh, maybe you are lovable after all.” - things like “..incredibly talented person..”, “a total rising star..” & “One of my favorite shows ever”, which I drafted, but a friend sent in his name cos he said I’d been there for him in difficult times in the past and this was his way of saying thanks. It’s a show “about” a delusional man with an over-extended idea of what he’s capable of. 📆 25th September 🕣 8:30pm 🏟️ @effra.social 🎟️ Linktree in bio or via Lambeth fringe website
