This weekend, I had an installation at a charity event. It was so fun to be a part of this project. Thank you, @startribelife & @anewdawnfoundation , for having me.

As the set decorator, we have to source everything that has to be placed in these sets. It can be challenging and rewarding. We pick out rugs, lights, lamps, couches, chairs , etc. We were able to use props from the movie in our set. The Barbie phones, suitcase, magazine, and chess set. A lot of the viral clips promoting the movie came from this set.

Some BTS of the tree of life being painted. Please add more whimsy to your life. Get inspired at the witches cottage. I have a goal of creating more art. When started helping the witches cottage with their new restaurant and event space, I decided to be more creative then I have been. I have enjoyed being apart of this amazing community and have been painting a lot more, now having this place in my orbit. More art will be coming.
Martina @qigong_girl and I collaborated together on painting this. Thanks @jenderosadesigns and @thewitchscottage1111 for letting us be creative and spontaneous with the tree. Fun fact: the branches added were inspired by jen putting them around the space. I wanted to blend the tree into the space more with the 3d element. It came out better than expected. The full moon is my favorite part of the tree. The tree kept evolving. I still want to make tweaks and little touch ups, but as the famous Leonardo da Vinci said art isn't finished its abandoned. I don't plan on abandoning her just yet.

I love being a Designer & Set Decorator but we do not always get to see the whole set in the final project. A lot of times you only see a little bit of it. More and more we are cutting down shots to make the story move faster. So we don't get to see the world. These are some of my favorites.
A lot of times we are dressing something quickly and I get a second to take a photo before the crew gets in. I have gotten better about asking for time to take a photo. Lol these are the worst photos of my favorite parts. The joys of film making and movie magic

Coming out the other side of this movie, I am grateful to have made so many new friends and I work with the old ones. This was a hard project but so fun. I couldn't have done it with out my team.
@dforrestblank my lead person, my right hand thank you for keeping me calm. We definitely laughed a lot on this one. I can't wait for it to come out!!

Yesterday was incredible, I'm honored to be a part of this movement. I couldn't have imagined the turnout we had. About 1000 people showed up in solidarity. It was also the first time I heard this song, sung beautifully by strike captain DW. It was amazing to hear while watching everyone on the line. I'm union proud.
I have met amazing people and have made life-long friends.

I have been trying to figure out what to say about my work since this was released, and I had to post this. I have been very conflicted. I support WGA & SAG during the strike. I don't want to promote the big companies.... like WB. But I was told recently that I have to post something because people need to see my work.
So here it goes, when movies/tv are done filming, there is a Post Production team to promote whatever project needs to be pushed into the market and make the CEOs more money.
Here is my recent promo work on the Barbie Movie. It's hard for everyone, including us. I want to support the crews who spent the hard work and time to make this movie. Word on the street is that there was a pink shortage for this project. I'm happy to be a part of this amazing film, even if it's the promo. Little me is so stoked that I did this. We got to use props from the movie for set dressing. Look at that chess set!!! Custom made for the movie. I got to play a game of chess on it. We have fun making these and having small part in everyone seeing it. Go See The Barbie Movie coming out tomorrow July 21st.

Excited does not express the only feelings I have. 6 days away. I can't wait to show everyone what i have been working on. There are so many emotions to hosting your first art show. I couldn't not have started this journey with out the push and encouragement of my friends. I love you all. @maiarawalsh thank you for telling me to just do it and let me use your space @dreamco.dtla . @johnnyhlove you laid the path and are pushing me to keep going. @thealmightyduke Thank you for being my rock 🤍 @jilliyybeans thank you for helping me and being amazingly talented.

More BTS of work this year. It has been a great year and only 3.5 months left of it. I can't wait to see how I finish out. I have met some amazing people and have done some great projects. I really have enjoyed this. Many more to come.
