feels like the only time I ever post, but visibility matters :) today I have 3 years sober from drugs and alcohol. a few things sobriety has given me 1) my transness/self 2) relative calm upstairs 3) accountability 4) concern for humans other than myself 5) humility/willingness to work for what I want 6) gorgeous relationships, platonic & otherwise 7) boundaries

some 740 days ago, i was just another woman passing out in the exit row of a transatlantic flight, one of many stops in a lifelong race against reality. today, i am making that same trip — only this time as a trans humanoid with two years sober from drugs & alcohol. though still occasionally puzzled by my gender, i’m 1000x more comfortable in my body and mind. thanks to everyone who helped me get here. i love you ❤️
