Playing for Pride was started by a soccer player @austindaluz who wanted to see soccer players defending LGBTQ+ rights as strongly as they defend their own goal. Years later, while the campaign has expanded into all sports and athletes of all levels, we are proud to see so many soccer players using their platform to champion equality. We especially want to thank the @nwsl who donated nearly $16K, and incredible players like @reeba04 , @imdorsey , @kaleighkurtz and @gohaamm who mobilized their fans and followers to support Athlete Ally’s work during Pride month and beyond.
