Well that's a wrap for 2025!. Thanks to all our clients, collaborators, suppliers, fabricators, contractors and friends for another amazing year. Just some of our recent highlights include the Aurora School Playspace, Alice Springs Skatepark and Gosnells YES. We are all having a short break and will be back in early January 2026. We thought we should post a teaser design fly through of our Alice Springs Newland Park Active Precinct. It is currently under construction and planning to be finished over the coming months. We loved designing the space with the local community including @alicespringsskatepark crew and now are keenly watching it come to life by those superstars @mphprojects with skate build by the great crew @convicskateparks . It contains a 2000 sq.m skatepark, pump track, half court, adventure play space, social hub, bouldering areas with parking and toilets and lots of shade and soft landscaping throughout. A super big shout out to @alicespringstowncouncil for being an incredible client who saw and embraced the importance of creating this fantastic recreation space for the local Alice Springs and broader NT community.
So good to see our Hallidays Point Skatepark open. We loved designing it. Well done @hallidayspointskatepark and all those involved in build. Great work also by Council. Great outcome!
Playce has been fortunate to work on a range of simply amazing recreation and play projects over the last two years. The Alice Springs Adventure Park (shown) for @alicespringstowncouncil was opened late last year and is a fun space within their pool precinct. includes a bespoke playspace, ball court, beach volleyball area and mini golf course. This was a fantastic collaboration with @mphprojects who built the space so well. #seriousaboutfun
Happy to announce that the Beaumont Hills Parks for People Space has won a @aila_nsw 2025 Award of Excellence a couple of weeks ago. Our role was the design of the skatepark and pump track.
