The reviews are in and Romsey's new skatepark is a certified hit! It's safe to say the local youth are stoked. 🛹
The skatepark goes beyond just skating, with local kids even helping to paint a mural with Artist Kyle from @creativesparksprojects . Olly the skateboarding koala will be a permanent feature of the park. 🐨
A huge congratulations to the Lancefield Romsey Lions Club for their tireless fundraising and to @communitybanklancefieldromsey for their significant contribution to make this dream a reality. And a big shout-out to local dream team, Steve from @grindprojects and Darren from @baseplatedesign have built a vibrant hub for a whole community of youth to enjoy.
11 years in the making! The new Romsey Skatepark is officially open! 🛹 🚲 🛴
It was incredible to see the whole community out in force, from toddlers on scooters to the OG skaters, to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited Romsey Skatepark.
This park is a testament to what community spirit can achieve. A big shout-out to the Lancefield Romsey Lions Club for their incredible fundraising. We were thrilled to do our part, with @CommunityBankLancefieldRomsey contributing $225,000 to bring the project to life.
