A self portrait I painted while on residency this year @borgopignano in Tuscany. Having spent some time in Florence before, strolling the rooms of the @uffizigalleries and thinking about being there to paint in the same landscape as some of the greats of the renaissance was a strange and slightly intimidating feeling. An amazing few days spent in Florence to which this painting was a response.
