Keynote Speaker @danielluriesf opened the ceremony as we celebrated the groundbreaking of the next phase of the remodel and seismic upgrade of 100 McAllister Street for @uclaw_sf .
This 28-story, 269,000-square-foot historic building is undergoing a comprehensive renovation that includes a seismic retrofit, elevator replacements, exterior repairs, and interior upgrades to include residential, academic, and administrative spaces.
By upgrading critical infrastructure and strengthening our cities through education and safety, we are, as Daniel Lurie aptly stated, “creating the conditions for our city’s success.”
We are proud to support UC Law SF’s vision for an academic village and grateful to our partners @perkinswillsf , @pageturnbull , and @holmes.us along with our incredible team, for reaching this important milestone.

Happy Mother's Day! At Plant, we're grateful for all of the mothers who do so much each day, at work, and beyond. To show our appreciation, we hosted a flower workshop for our team.

As we wrap up Construction Safety Week, we focus on the theme "Respect". When we foster a culture of respect, we create a workplace where everyone feels empowered to speak up, prevent incidents, and protect each other every day.
We recognize #STCKY situations before they occur and respect the procedures designed to prevent them. When hazards are identified, we respond promptly and responsibly, respecting the controls and processes put in place to keep everyone safe. Most importantly, we respect the time, effort, and livelihoods behind every project we build. Respect that continues to move us forward, safely. Because when it comes to safety, we are #AllinTogether.

Jump scare alert! In honor of the second theme, “Respond,” jobsites rely on both auditory warnings, like the airhorn in the video, and visual warnings to help workers at a Plant Construction site avoid hazards. While we proactively plan for a wide range of conditions, unexpected safety risks can still arise and require immediate action.
Our teams focus on early hazard recognition, thoughtful planning, and strong situational awareness to anticipate potentially challenging situations. Through regular jobsite walks, targeted training, and site-specific safety initiatives, we help ensure everyone is prepared to respond and keep our job sites safe.
Look out for our final safety video tomorrow as we wrap up Construction Safety Week with more stories from our teams.

As part of Construction Safety Week, our first safety video focuses on the theme "Recognize".
Recognizing potential hazards, recognizing safe behaviors, and recognizing the people who look out for one another on our jobsites are all critical to keeping everyone safe. Safety starts with awareness and at Plant Construction, recognizing risks and taking the steps to eliminate them is something we practice every day.
Stay tuned for more safety stories from our teams throughout the week.

Construction Safety Week 2026 is officially underway, and we’re proud to kick things off at Plant Construction in line with this year’s theme: Recognize, Respond, Respect.
To start the week, we want to thank everyone who helps make safety a core value at Plant. A special thank you to our Safety Team: Mat Guerrero, Chris Reynoso, Robert Calacal, Jerry Pfefferkorn, Mirna Villareal, Hector Giron, and William Dorsey, for your unwavering commitment to keeping our teams safe. Through your leadership, prevention efforts, and dedication, you protect our people, our projects, and the culture of care we share across every jobsite.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and it’s upheld every day by employees across the company who plan with intention, lead by example, and reinforce safe practices on site. Each person at Plant plays an essential role in maintaining a safe working environment, and we appreciate the collective effort it takes to do so.
Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing three videos featuring our teams in action on jobsites. Stay tuned.

Last month, we welcomed @Hilti to our Quarterly Foreman Meeting, where they showcased new tools and technologies available to support our craft professionals and provided guidance on their effective use. The demonstration included ergonomic hand tools and new technologies designed to help reduce the physical strain associated with operating equipment for extended durations.
In construction, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and that comes with a commitment to safety. As we continue to build a world-class safety program, we actively evaluate and invest in technologies that help minimize physical strain, reduce operator fatigue, and lower long-term ergonomic risk related to tools and machinery.
What technologies or innovations are you using to help reduce the physical impact of machinery on your workforce?

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to all of our company administrators!
Each year, Plant takes a day to recognize and celebrate the invaluable role our Admins play in the success of our company. This year, we celebrated by going to Topgolf.
To everyone at Plant Construction, and beyond, we hope you’ll take a moment today to thank and appreciate the Administrative Professionals who support your teams and keep everything running smoothly.

It's National Pet Day and our Plant ambassadors understood the assignment. Safety gear, strong poses and good behavior (mostly).
